A better filter unit.
The media could not be loaded. Bought this to replace a different brand that broke. This works great and has made our town water way better tasting and smelling than it has been. I know usually people with well water get these, but apparently our town has some gnarly pipes or storage tanks. Attached video shows how much just the sediment filter has caught - ON TOWN WATER. Yucky! The filter sumps on this thread internally with a top gasket for a stronger fit than others. Our last filter system - https://a.co/d/aw414YM - had sumps that threaded on externally with a gasket at the neck, which fractured and almost flooded our entire basement.

Do not buy
I have very bad experience with this product nothing but problems developing leaks every couple weeks very poorly assembled low quality

Recommend
Installed it in our 5th wheel, all water coming into the trailer runs through this filter before entering the trailer. We are in California and this made a big difference in water quality.

Leaks, fixable
Leaked from day one out of the box. Tried retaping the threads to no avail. Contacted company to return it with no answer. Amazon was no help. Went out and bought metal close nipple fittings. Taped the threads and wouldn't ya know, no leaks. I think I spent maybe an extra $2 on metal fittings and now it works like a champ. Now if the replacement filter number actually worked to get filters....

Leaker!
Leaked from every seam from day one. Returned and bought two separate filters and everything is water tight and my water looks and tastes better.

LEAKS!
The media could not be loaded. The company WILL NOT SEND a replacement! DO NOT BUY! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! They didn't WRAP enough Teflon or tighten the male to male adapters! POOR WORKMANSHIP! JUNK! AMAZON was NO HELP!
