NO. It’s annoying. Would not recommend if you need for alarm. Very disappointing.

Q: Does this clock also plug into an outlet or does it work only with batteries? Thank you.

Plugs into outlet. Also has a battery that allows it to remember the correct time if there is a power outage.If your power goes out in the middle of the night, most clocks stop and blink at you. This one will still alarmat the right time.(The clock will still work normally without a battery, or if the battery dies.)

No it is not dual alarm. It's just alarm, no radio.

The same make and model lasted for twenty years. The new one arrived on time but when plugged into appropriate mains facility, started to smoke and smell of burning.
