Definitely lived up to the hype
Overall these are the best seed brand I’ve tried. Such a variety of flavors. Great size seeds, not too salty, but still carry the flavor really well.Cinnamon Toast-10/10. Didn’t expect sweet seeds to work but these are amazing.Parmesan Pepper- 9/10. These are great but I think a little garlic flavor would really make these pop.Smokehouse BBQ- 7/10. These were surprisingly spicy. Was not expecting spicy from barbecue but they weren’t bad.Lemon Pepper- 10/10. These have a little sweetness to them that really sends them over the top. Probably my favorite flavor.Original- 8/10. I’m not usually a big fan of original seeds because they are too salty, but these have just the right amount of salt.Jalepeno Ranch- 5/10. These really didn’t stick out to me. They are quite bland and have 0 spice. Still better than other brands but compared to the rest of the flavors from this brand this one is slacking.Dill Pickle- 9/10. Other brands dill pickle is extremely salty and sour. These have just the right amount of flavor.Hatch Chile- 9/10. These have a sweet heat that goes perfectly with sunflower seeds. Was expecting these to be very spicy but it’s quite subtle.

Best Sunflower Seeds
Chinook seeds not only have a great flavor, especially this variety pack. They also contain less salt which is not just healthier, but it keeps your mouth from getting torn up and sore like some other brands. Hatch Chile and Parmesan Pepper were my favorite. The cinnamon toast was definitely different, kind of like the cinnamon toast flavor from some soft pretzels.

Flavors are good, but you can barely taste them
As someone who's used to DAVID seeds, these simply aren't salty enough, so you can barely taste their flavors. These have a lot of potential to be good, but half the reason I eat sunflower seeds is for sucking the flavor out of them for a while before I finally eat them.I'm probably going to soak these in a brine mixture so I can enjoy finishing them. The size of the seeds is awesome, they're generally larger than other brands I've tried. The meat in them is great too. I don't think I've encountered a single rotten seed, so they're fresh and pleasant to eat.

Quality seeds // Soft flavor
Honestly the seeds are high caliber. But the flavors just aren’t bold. I get not adding salt or over saturating the seeds. But the variety of flavors I got; I expected them to be heavily flavored and super roasted. Alas they weren’t. I’d say these would be great for anyone who likes soft flavor tone.

Stale and seriously lacking flavor
Not many good things to say about these seeds. The shells on half of these bags do not crack, they bend and tear. The flavors are Very mild and most are not good even when you do taste them. There's a good level that could be reached. If most seed brands are a 10 in flavor these are a 2. I think it's possible to make a 5 or 6 and still be able to claim low sodium etc. Most of these being stale doesn't help their goals. I would never buy this brand again.

Far Better than expected, NEW FAN!!
About 16 years ago, I tried seeds. Why?Well as a school bus driver for sporting events, I was around them daily and nightly.A tennis coach offered me some seeds, I was such a rook, that I grabbed a handful & chewed them shells and all, he looked mortified. Then gave me the basics, store a dozen in your cheek, let them get moist, then one by one, place one on your teeth, split it, shell it chew the seed, and get the flavor out of the 1/2 shell & repeat. At fifty, it was very new to me, but I did catch on.Now after trying all of the brands you see in big box stores & convivence stores , the Chinook reviews captured me.Chinook for the win.High quality seeds, all excellent, none burnt, none with that bottom of the barrel taste, 4 bags finished. Not one bad seed, yet, or do I expect one.Unique flavors, almost understated.Being a new fan to intermittent fasting (May 2024)These help sustain me, on longer fasts.Especially on those fasts that last 60-84 hour.CHINOOK, a tad more than all the rest, but quality miles above the usual suspects

Edible, but a serious let down. Over Hyped under delivered.
Edible. I should have listened to the reviews that said they were mid, lacked flavor, had many bad seeds, lacked crunch and texture. I just don't understand the hype with these seeds. I ordered the variety pack in hopes of finding a go to flavor that I could order in bigger batches. At first I thought maybe the flavors I opened first had weak flavor but the lack of salt, flavor and hardness of the seeds was consistent across all of them. The Cinnamon Toast have a burst of flavor that's gone in seconds, they just don't hold their flavor. Jalapeno Ranch and Hatch Chili have zero kick. These are edible. I expected them to be at least as good as Bigs and David and hoped for quality on par with cha cha, nope. Save your money, look elsewhere.

Great seeds, amazing quality and lower sodium!
Awesome variety pack. Not a fan of a few of the flavors but that's all subjective. People don't seem to realize that these seeds have sometimes 1/10 the sodium as other "more flavorful" brands. Smokehouse is my favorite sunflower seed I've had in my entire life. Freshest, most satisfying to crack open seeds!
