Battery, 58V Series, 4.0Ah Capacity

Works perfect! After buying a cheaper knock off and dealing with a replacement when the first one did not work the 2nd also would not power my trimmer, I bought this. Works perfect and saved me from having to buy all new equipment to clean up my yard.Very happy.

This battery was purchased 4/24/2022 from Amazon. It worked great last summer, was partially charged and stored inside for the winter of 22/23 the spring start-up it was a no go for charging on an ECHO 58 volt charger. I watched videos about battery reste tried that and cannot get any voltage readings from the individual cells by testing each end of the cells. I do not have the proper charger to charge the battery as the video person did but there seems to be a digital control issue that I cannot negotiate. Does ECHO have a repair representive? If so please advise. The system works great if the battery issue is solved.

OK I got my first two batteries in 2018. Didn't know the intricacies of charging, so may have tried charging them hot the first season. Know better now.One of the first two has a problem now, four years later: it charges two of the four quadrants and stops with a 'defective' light. It has done this more than once. Still get a little use out of it.The second of the first two still charges to 4/4 quadrants, but it ends with a 'defective' light. I understand that batteries lose their capacity over time, so compare the use of this one to the new one and the new one does over twice as much work.So, the new one, subject of this review, is amazing after two uses/charges: runs longer, charges with no error. Be nice to get 4+ years use out of it.One more thing: the battery was $160 in 2018, is $253 in 2022.
