Kinda sucks
I have 3 opinion points about this knife. First and most obvious, the color. Baby poo green? Really?Aside from the cosmetics, the opening of this blade is abysmal. You either have a near 1/2" thumb stud (I removed it for reasos), or it's a front flipper. EITHER WAY BARELY WORKS. I'm a lefty, and I wish they just made it a flicker. *Also, not a signature series, bc it's not signed.. so there's money wasted.*However, once you wrestle it open, it is impressively solid. Idk if mine is a outlier at this point, but the entire liner sinks under the blade, including the thumb detent, making it seriously stable. It's a great knife, once you struggle it open. 2.5 stars

Not a Lynn Thompson edition.
Knife is good in every way but IS NOT THE SIGNATURE EDITION. That is a disappointing but I still like it and don't plan on returning it.

Cold steel false advertising
I purchased one of these Kris ti lights directly from cold steels website December of 2021 and even then it was advertised as the Lynn Thompson signature series but when it arrived in the mail it was not signed kinda disappointing to see they are still selling products under a false advertisement but that doesnt change the fact cold steel still makes great products

It says Lynn Thompson Signature edition Cold Steel ti lite, and it is not the Lynn Thompson one....
The knife being sold, as I can see having received the one I bought, it is not the Lynn Thompson signature edition, it is the standard Cold Steel 6 inch Kris ti lite.I like the knife overall, it's my first Kris style knife, I have a large collection, but this is my first Kris style blade. It was not as sharp as some other Cold Steel knives I have such as the Voyager XL series knives were much sharper from the factory, they were stropped I think since they were sharp enough to shave with. This knife was not as sharp. I have a round diamond sharpener that I used to sharpen it some, needs a little more work. Given the blade shape I can't use a standard leather strip to put a razor sharp edge on this interesting blade.I think for about $73 this is a unique and fairly well made knife. Could be sharper from the factory. Very interesting design. The hilt works like an Emerson wave pocket deploy, the thumb stud is okay, there is no flipper as the other hilt is inside the handle. Not good that they are saying it's a Lynn Thompson signature, when it clearly is not, and other reviews have said the same thing. The knife itself is pretty good for $73 , other than they could do a better job sharpening it at the factory.

A Unique Knife that Stands Out from the Crowd
This is a fine knife that stands out from the crowd of look-alike knives. The fit and finish are excellent. The Kris blade grind is outstanding; very well done. The handle gives a good grip. There's even a flare at the tip that not only makes it stronger, but also let's you open it using your fingernails. When this knife is lying open on my desk and I walk across the room toward it, the floor moves a little which makes the desktop move too, and this makes the knife rock in such a way that it looks like the blade is slithering along. If you don't know about Kris or Kriss blades do a little research; they have a long and interesting history around the world. The scales give a better grip than the aluminum-handled Ti-Lite. If you're worried about your delicate thumb and the stout liner lock, this isn't the knife for you. But if you appreciate a knife whose blade flicks out with a satisfying ker-chunk, you'll want this one. It's not like you'll be unlocking it all day and night. Or maybe you will...after the knife's action is "tuned" it'll open using several different grip styles and then it gets addictive. You can even tap one guard against your leg and pull the knife back in such a way that the blade will flick open that way. There are also many sharpeners out there that'll work on this blade; something round or semi-circular will work properly, as will a triangular shape. And if you really don't like this handle, the blade will fit into the aluminum handled Ti-Lite; be sure to cover the blades' cutting edges with tape before working with them.

Excellent knife, but not what was advertised
is absolutely amazing. I do not plan to do anything to return it because I wanted the style of knife not necessarily the signature series. I just wanted this blade style it being a signature series knife was just a bonus like I said absolutely excellent knife just not what was advertised
