can I close the battery compartment without using the screws? Do I need to screw and unscrew everytime I change the batteries?

Yes, you do need to remove the screws to open the battery compartment, and then use the screws again to close the compartment. The screws are small and little bit fiddly, but this is the only complaint. Overall, I'm pleased with the device and first impressions, a good build quality.

Can any type of liquid soap be used in this unit?

Pretty much, so long as it's not too thick. They work brilliantly - can't understand why every bar/restaurant in the world hasn't installed them.

Is there any warranty for this product if yes how long is it?

This is the answer I received from Svavo when I wanted to know about the warranty: "Our guarantee is that, 90-Days return or replacement, if our soap dispenser have any problems after you purchased. Any problems with our soap dispenser after 90-days but within 1-year after purchased, we will repair or replace your device. Hope these can help you."

How much soap does this dispense in one go, and can this amount be adjusted ?
