Really good for making your child think outside of the box. Quite puzzle like some of the exercises. Would recommend.

Really good 11+ vocab material at a very good price! Challenging synonyms and antonyms, and good quality vocab material as a whole! Excellent material for preparing for the 11+. My daughter writes her 11+ exam this September, and this book has helped her prepare for the English part of the exam!

Best books to keep kids busy and learn.

The book covers genuine exam questions from the 11+ exams from ages past.This help my daughter pass her 11plus exam along with the exams that are in ISEB format.

I used this alongside the CGP resources for Verbal Reasoning and found it showed a good range of other questions I’d not seen before. Nice short tasks make it more game-like. Would recommend for teachers or parents.

Ideal practice for 11+ vocabulary and comprehension tests the Bond 11+: CEM Vocabulary 10 Minute Tests: 10-11 Years is well laid out and clear. If used long-term over the months leading up to the test then the candidate will have an advantage when coming across new words in the test and being able to work out what they probably mean. Great aid.

I needed a book s as preparation for the Lycee CDG International Section tests. These are a type of banding test (in English) for allocation to the International Section. They are primarily text based (not MCQ). I had difficulty finding a book that approximates this. The closest are the Dulwich College 11+ tests. This book has not been what I was looking for as the exercises are less text comprehension and more MCQ. Perhaps this works better for English state-school 11+
