Excellent 19" 6U Rack for the money
If you're like me on the hunt for a 6U rack that you can tuck out of the way behind a door this is a great first and last stop. If you're also like me you're not likely to have looked at the pictures or deduced that something hanging from a wall vertically does not need to have mount 6U mount brackets on the bottom of it. So you also buy a power supply to mount in the back of the rack only to find out there was no back/bottom. This is by no means a deal breaker or a problem, just a logical leap you need to make in your mind, if its hanging from a wall it doesn't make since to hang things upside down.TL;DRCons:Minor metal/paint defectsTop locking hatch may not leave enough room for network equipment if using SFP connectors that stick out.First slot is not really usable based on hardware selection and face of product.Screw holes are exactly 16" apart which makes it hard to get good stud contactNo hardwarePros:Looks goodSturdyLocking latches included with two separate keysTop Latching door has space for cables to exit while remaining lockedOption to remove top locking latch if neededNice rubber seal for power cord outletSecures well to wall, considering stud placement and hardware selectionOn to the bad stuff and we'll end with the good. You'll notice in two photos there are slight defects in the product from what I assume is shipping; but, may have been from manufacturing and the product getting bumped before one or two things completely dried. In the end these are not noticeable once you stop looking for them, and since they're on the inside of the door when its mounted they will not be visible period. The top door while leaving space for network connected equipment realistically can't be closed if you're using SFP connectors and copper. I'm not sure I would trust it with fiber either. The door may be removed; but, then you lose the security feature of the keys that were provided to do just that. The screw holes are 16 inches apart. Which if you couldn't see behind the wall as I could as there was no wall, just studs, you would not be alone attempting to understand that your screws will only be making clean contact with one stud or the other that are 16" apart UNLESS, you make good contact with one, and line up the other just right that you can screw a little towards the outside to ensure a solid fit. While on this topic, if you pick the wrong hardware as I did see in the photos, the bolt heads keep you from mounting most items in the first 1U slot, as well as the door latch itself hanging over that 1U slot preventing most if not all network equipment from being used in that slot. This can easily be overcome by rearranging your devices to find something that can be installed and forgotten there; but, if you don't have that choice is something to consider. Lastly, it doesn't come with the hardware to mount it to the wall. This makes sense from a cost stand point as your application mileage may vary; but, I feel like a set of basic concrete bolts, and stud bolts is not too much to ask.On to the good. This product looks and feels great. Its sturdy, has plenty of room, ventilation, and even comes with locking hatches on both the top and side panels. It also gives you the option to remove the top panel if you need more room for the cables that may bend a little too much with the door closed, or if you're using SFP connectors that pop out of your device make it impossible. Also, allows you to run cables through the top latch while closed and secured through a slight crack in the back against the wall. It has a great port that comes with air management rubber to slide your power cords through, to prevent any potential wire wear on the metal frame. It fits securely to the wall with ease, as long as you consider your stud spacing. All in all, highly recommend this product for my needs(hidden rack behind a door with usable cable management options). Hopefully this gives you a bit more insight on if it fits yours!

Great product for the price, only minor complaints
This is a nice heavy duty rack with thick steel. It feels just a tiny bit flimsy until it is mounted because of the big cutout in the back, but once screwed down it is solid. That big cutout in the back is perfect for bringing your ethernet cables into your patch panel(s).Also, mine was shipped from Canada to the US and arrived in a cardboard box that was so thick and reinforced with corner stiffeners and extra cardboard layers and tape that it took me 20 minutes to cut it all open. Their packing/shipping department gets and A++ because it arrived in flawless condition. Here are my two gripes: 1) The front panel lock and top panel lock use different keys. Really guys???? 2) As another reviewer mentioned the first 1u space closest to the hinge is pretty much un-usuable for anything needing a cable because it sits under the hinge. That is ok for me, but it is something everyone buying this should be aware of.Edit: I bought some rack mount extensions and trimmed the rib inside this enclosure to fit them. This let me recess my patch panel under the hinge so I could use all 6U. Modification took 15 minutes.
