More effective in smaller size
These things are hard to measure, but I believe they are as effective as my longer ones due to the design. But they fit in my luggage much more easily.

Awesome flippers
I bought these for my kids several years ago and they are still going strong. We bought two pairs, green & blue. The thing I like the best about these flippers is that they are adjustable. Every single child who visits the pool with us wants to wear these flippers, and since they are adjustable, they fit everyone! I can even wear them (women’s shoe size 6.5), if needed. My 6-year old can swim across the long length of the pool in these. He makes it about a 3rd as far without them in the same amount of time. (We enjoy timed races). When he and I race and he is wearing these flippers, I am hard-pressed to beat him!! Sometimes I don’t lol.My 9 year old doesn’t wear them as much anymore, but I think that’s because they are cumbersome to walk in. He’s recently started running and doing flips into the pool. Flippers would show him down lol. This summer, a friend accidentally bent the flippers backwards while walking in them, and they haven’t ever been the same. The webbed material is softer than plastic, but stiffer than rubber and it definitely can get “kinked”. I’d recommend making your children put them on when they are on pool stairs so that walking in the flippers is minimized.I will absolutely buy these again when we need to replace our one set that got mildly damaged. They still function fine when in the water though, so it’s not a big deal.3-4 years of fun with these, no end in sight; I definitely recommend!

Short fins with few short comings
Weight: lightVersatility: amazingAppearance: these things are ******Stability: yupComfort: decent, got the size recommended to me and they're a tad small.Overall great fins, first time trying short fins. I can see when and where they'd be useful, but since I snorkel in stronger currents I will stick to longer fins. These will definitely be my go to pond fins, or lake fins.

These are great for taking a hammer under water to train and swim in mountain rivers.
Yoish! These fins are amazing and please understand the only set i have ever owned. Though i do a great deal of mountain lake and ocean training. I like to take heavy hammers under water and swing them like i do on land, with this fins on i am able to get a tremendous work out with my hammers and fins. I also use them in the glacial rivers of the Olympic mountains. Where i use the river as a treadmill, these work great, and are not so big that i can plant my feet on the bottom of the river at times. I also like to swim down rivers, make like a river otter, allowing my body to flow over stones in the rapids, these fins are just the right size and provide support in my movements.Mick DodgeHoh River Rain ForestOlympic Mountains

Excellent choice for a snorkel trip
Did a little snorkeling in Maui last month. In the past we carried our huge dive fins until we just found it hard to justify filling up our baggage allotment with these items and left them home. This time we decided to try these shorty fins and were pleasantly satisfied. They are so lightweight, easy to pack and work great in the water. I do hold a specialty diver certificate so have spent enough time in the water to know the difference. You just kick with a little higher frequency but this gives you a bit more control and is less fatiguing for your leg and foot muscles. Highly recommended.

Perfect for our needs... Customer Service Top Notch
We ordered 4 sets of fins ahead of a vacation to Key West. (We have face masks)Product: as expected, just like pictured, fit was good for all of us and we all had fun testing them out in the pool.I am not big on writing reviews but was so impressed with customer service I am making a point for this product and vendor. Not only was it a great value, but a portion of our order didn't arrive despite FedEx claiming it delivered. Amazon deferred me to the seller and my expectations were low for a fast and smooth process. I was WRONG... Customer service immediately responded and communicated with me, personally communicated the reshipment and the packages arrived in plenty of time. The whole process was easy and not what seems to be the norm these days with customer service departments. I would DEFINITELY BUY AGAIN. Thanks for helping us get ready to make memories!

Like the Fins but the buckle broke off on the second use. - Updated 8/25/19
Fins are easy to pack for our trips. Easy to put on and adjust. We wear aqua socks. Second time out, one of the buckles came off the post on one of the fins. I was able to retrieve the fin but not the buckle. My wife's pair have been fine. She is very satisfied. I contacted Shop 709 about the buckle and sent the photos they requested. I also requested expedited replacements as we were off to a trip in Mexico in a couple of weeks in mid May '19. The replacement parts did not arrive until several weeks after we returned from our trip. Used the fins during the trip by rigging up an attachment method using first aid waterproof adhesive tape. It was tough to adjust but worked for the trip. We will be trying out the new buckles on a trip in late October '19. Kudos to Shop 709 for sending replacements but disappointed they could make my trip last May, especially since many others have experienced the buckle situation. Crossing fingers that the new buckles will work during the trip in October.I would recommend the product for easy of packing and weight. Keep track of those buckles and seems these fins will work well. Thanks.
