This isn't quite like other pastas we have used. It has a different/strange texture from what we are used to. I don't know if that means this is authentic or not, but it wasn't likeable enough to purchase it again. But it at least was fresh, not stale. We got such a good deal on it through Amazon that it was worth a try, and for those who like this brand, keep an eye out for deals here.
