Q: what is the specs for Air watts and waterlift?

Most central vac's are rated by air watts, my current system nearly 20 yrs old has 500 air watts. From the research I was able to find, CV12000 has a very low suction air 400 air watts. Maybe this is the reason why the question hasn't been answered or why it's not listed in the description. Thankfully I researched before purchasing by garage shop vac has more suction than that

Q: I bought an older home with a no longer functioning central vacuum system. How do I know if this Will this work as a replacement?

The CV12000 works with standard 2" central vacuum piping and low voltage circuit. The hose in this kit fits a standard 1.5" wall inlet plate, and works with either pigtail or direct connect systems. You may have to update the wall inlet plates if they aren't a standard size.

Q: What voltage and amperage circuit is needed

This unit requires 120 volts and can run on a regular 15 amp circuit.

Q: Does this need to be vented outside?

This does not need to be vented outside it will come equipped with an exhaust muffler for owners who are unable to exhaust outside. Exhausting outside will cut down on some heat and noise, but if you're unable to vent outside that's not a problem and you can use the exhaust muffler when venting inside. Thanks
