Great Photos
If your camera has a flash perfect, if not, make sure you're taking the photo with really good lighting. Some of the photos I've taken indoors are a little more blurred, but the ones taken outdoors in the sun look great! The quality is there, I will be purchasing these again. :)

A little pricey, but worth it!
Found a used One-Step from the early 1980s online for $23 and decided to take a chance. Then I discovered the film was +$19 a pack! Yikes, over $2 an image! I decided to take some portraits of the kids outside and was blown away by the images. If you love B&W images and instant photography like I do and have access to a camera that takes sx-70 film, I highly recommend this.

They're ok for the most part
It worked pretty well but the last couple, they started coming out black, I don't know if it was because the sun hit them or if it's how they came but they worked for the couple I did use.

Great film! *Your film is not expired!
Great film! So far I've had very good results with this film. It's not the original film we know and love from the 70s, however considering Impossible (now polaroid) had to re-invent this film with all new chemicals, beggars can't be choosers.I've seen a lot of people point out that their film was expired when it arrived, and I'd like to point out that the date on the side of the box is NOT the expiration date, but the PRODUCTION DATE!Your film is fine.

Busted makes me feel bad
I am seriously unimpressed with the SX 70. True it’s a Polaroid, but back in the day the film actually developed. The issue is the modern film stock is nowhere as stable as it was back in the day. SX70 isn’t supposed to be an easy camera. That’s why we have the 600 series, but out of two boxes only two photos developed, everything else was a dude. I’ve tested out and modified 600 film to run in the SX70 and that turned out better than this.If you’re into film, bless your heart, it’s not a cheap hobby. If you want to collect a cool camera. Find a broken SX70 and save your money.Instax by Fuji is without a doubt your next best option even though it’s format blows. Polaroid does one thing right, it’s square format is large and stunning when using optimal film and shooting in a controlled environment. The mini, wide, and square formats are superior in the processing “you spend ten bucks you get ten photos that will more than likely all develop”, but the Dimensions are all wonky and weird to look at. Mini is too small, wide is the best but like the mini I’m not a fan of the wide look. Square should be perfect, but it’s too small. On an economic level you can buy a pack of 60 mini photos for 35 bucks which is a steal in my book. Also instax cameras are really good, mint has a really neat twin lens reflex instax that’s pretty cool. I have the Neo 90 classic and the Instax wide camera. The Neo 90 has some cool bells and whistles, but unless you want to have fun doing double exposures “and I know you do” you’re okay I’m just the basic model instax. The wide however looks comical and fugly, like it’ll take your picture and steal your soul. Fuji needs to go back to the drawing board. The SX70 is a beautiful camera, a relec from a interesting time in instant photos. But the quality has not passed over time. If you have the camera, buy a roll, experiment in a controlled environment. If it works, great keep filming, if not, save your money. Buy instax or buy a 600 camera and save your money.

Pricy but so cool and vintage!
Overall my greatest critique is its price $$$$ i guess because its so niche. If you see it going for 19 dollars and your like, hmm maybe ill wait, DONT. The price will only climb, it was going for 30 dollars recently 19 is the best you will get with the same quality guaruntees. The other thing is unfortunately with the film photography your rarely gonna have 8 perfect shots so brace yourself for a little waste (more if your new). Also its a science, so you may get a pack that is simply defective, or has a streak in all the photos. Its pretty rare but true. That said film photography is a totally unique way to capture moments and the SX-70 is just about the coolest instant camera out there! Especially great for trips, weddings, honeymoons ect.One more thing... if the price is a real problem for you, or if your shooting tons of packs, one option is to get your SX-70 camera converted to shoot 600 film which is a lot cheaper and a little more up to date. It doesnt quite have that 70s ✨glow✨ but still a great film. Mint (online site) does this conversion for about 100 dollars. :0

Good film.
First time ever using this film in a SX70.In bright light this takes a great photo. My only complaint is the 4 light bleeds on the right side of each photo. From the back it looks like the film is slightly pressed in on those 4 spots. It could be the camera I’m not really sure; since it was gifted to me. But a Polaroid from the 70s won’t take a perfect photo.. and that is character. Regardless the film captures a great photo.EDIT. I cleaned the rollers and the images are now smooth. It was the camera after all. Great film 👌🏻
