Was to use but….
The incoming call volume could be louder, like 11 or 12 would be nicer. I had bought this because of the loudspeaker option, but I haven’t figured out how to go back and forth from a regular hand held call to the loudspeaker in the same call. I reckon it’s only good for one or the other per conversation…. So plan ahead. But, I could be wrong I’m. still also learning how to use my new dvd disc player.

Smaller then expected
The first thing is that it did work so taht is a good thing. It was much smaller then it looked in the picture and felt very cheap. It will not get a lot of use so I am not too worried about it but I feel that one drop and it is a goner.

junk
Piece of JUNK. It worked until I tried to set up speed dial numbers. I followed the simple instructions EXACTLY. UTTER FAILURE. Now I cannot dial out because some of the keys are DEAD. When I do manage to dial a number it says "cannot complete as dialed". Tried with or without area code. Now I can only ANSWER calls. Absolute pile of garbage.

Very Simple to use.
I was looking for a phone for my mother who is now in a nursing home becauseof her dementia and 90% blindness. This phone only has the bare necessities, with no other buttons to confuse or irritate her. Sound quality is amazingly pretty good for the low cost of this phone. It is very lite though and I wasafraid she would drag it off of the nightstand, so I mounted it to the wall. Had to shim behind it because it rocks a little, which is no big deal. I would recomend this phone because of it's simplicity.

Nice speakerphone for blind and hearing impaired senior
This phone was actually my second attempt at getting a phone for my blind, hearing impaired father. We actually taped down the handset so the unit "thinks" the phone is hung up all the time. All my father has to do is push the speaker button on the bottom center to make calls and answer his phone. Using the speaker allows him to hear with both ears in "stereo" rather than only one ear at a time. He's had it several months and so far so good.

Ringer is the best.
So far, it has been great. The ringer is exceptionally loud so no more missed phone calls. There is also a light that flashes to make folks aware it is ringing so double way not to miss a call. Only had the phone a week but volume and large buttons are a hit. First one came broke and customer service was great, I got a new one within a few days.

Mystery phone?
This the first time I am unable to go online and get a pdf manual. My one hundred year old mother lost the instructions and when some workers at her ALF unplugged the phone it clears the speed dial which she relies on. Her biggest complaint is the hand piece is so light it won't sit firmly in the holder. The phone has no markings, no model, serial, brand, no nothing. Had to look it up on Amazon purchases. By the way, same phone sold under different brand names. Adding to the confusion of getting pdf manual. Do I really have to order a second phone for a manual?
