Solid build, Ease of use, Versatile
Fwiw, I'm a HVAC tech of 40 years (retired) that values versatility and appreciates the little things. This t-stat perfectly fit the intended application and is of great build quality. Sold! Nothing to criticize here. Circuit board build and other internals look good. Finish is glassy smooth and feels relatively robust. Easy to follow instructions, intuitive to setup for use with or without program feature. All programmable features can be completely disabled and the device will function as a manually operated thermostat of long, long ago! Comes with Energizer batteries (not some cheap unknown brand!) or use 24v. Large easy to view back-lit display, Large well-labeled mechanical function switches, no touch screen. Prevent tampering with two lockout features. Has a clock to set your smartwatch with. Ability to calibrate temperature sensor and set deadband. Will control forced air heat-only as well as millivolt heat. Jumper wire comes pre-installed on B and O terminals (plus an extra), and includes all the necessary hardware for installation. Five years warranty! Can't say how long batteries will last if that's the sole power source, but it does have battery free memory. So reprogramming shouldn't be necessary when they do need to be replaced.

I got 7-2/3 great years out of a decently-disigned 5-year product
This is a very easy to use thermostat with a 5-year warranty. It has large numbers for the temperature readout and set-point. Programming is easy. I like the tightness of the swing setting...meaning that as it runs the HVAC I feel neither too hot nor too cold at come-on or turn-off. It's tightness can be dialed-back for those who like a wider swing. Program override is as easy as pushing the UP or DOWN button...and it then will hold the new temp set-point until the end of the current program period. To go fully-manual...you simply press the HOLD button and it holds the set-point until the cows come home---and you change the set-pint with the UP and DOWN buttons the same as when on override. The display lights up for about 30 seconds with the push of any button, and the 2 AA batteries last for years.I had gotten the non-Pro model of this thermostat at the end of January 2017 and was impressed with its design and inexpensive price. It [also] carried a 5-year warranty and started not turning on the Cool around the middle of last month (Oct 2024, I live in SE Texas), and because the Fan and A/C could be hot-wired to ON, I decided that the culprit was the thermostat and went to look for a replacement. This same product (albeit the "Pro" version) came up at a still-decent price and I decided to just get it as a drop-in replacement. I programmed it, took off the old front-part from the wall and replaced it with the new front-part...and my system works just fine. I'll hopefully get at least another 7-2/3 years out of this one. The difference between my original "non-Pro" and the new "Pro" version...maybe Lux can answer that question.

Easy install
I replaced an older Luz thermostat and switching was straightforward. This model has a better display but the old one showed the current temperature as well as the set temperature which was nice and this one only shows the current temperature.

Lux Pro home thermostat
This thermostat works just as I thought it would. Very easy to install clear instructions and works perfect. I like the light up screen and easy to see numbers. My last thermostat was a lux Pro and lasted many years. I would definitely recommend this product!

Great thermostat at a very good price!
This is the second thermostat from this manufacturer I have purchased. The design is thin and flushes against the wall, easy to install and for the price a great deal. I highly recommend thermostats from Lux, thats why I’m a repeat purchaser.

Easy to program. Works great. Good price.
I can't imagine why anyone would buy a more expensive thermostat. This one is inexpensive, easy to program, works great.

Works great
It was purchased to replace the manual thermostat in the RV being used as a temporary home. I called tech support for wiring instructions and was able to get everything hooked up right away. It's working great so far. The only problem I have with it is that it doesn't display the programmed temperature in addition to the actual temperature.

Simplicity of use and a large display
For years the main house thermostat for my Carrier gas furnace/air conditioning was a programmable electronic unit. The temperature was just never right. Running the program by clock and calendar to set temperatures is unrealistic, at least in U.S. Georgia. I found myself constantly fiddling with the override function to keep humidity at a tolerable level, as well as temperature. The display and control buttons were tiny, which was another aggravating factor. Programming that thing required walking through 6 or more daily settings for weekdays, and repeating the whole process for weekends. I ended up truly hating that programmable thermostat. The present non-programmable thermostat made things simple and easy to use. Large (finally!) buttons allow temperature adjustment, and the large digital display lets me operate it without putting on my reading glasses first. It's convenient and user-friendly. Installation took only a few minutes thanks to the color-coded terminals which matched the colors of the control wiring.
