Vegan product
It’s great that this is a vegan product nd clearly marked so on the product page and the packaging. They went to the effort to use vege gel capsules rather than cheaper gelatine so a bit thumbs up for that. The capsules themselves are pretty easy to swallow. You get 120 in the tub and if you go fir the full dose of 4 a day that’s just a months worth. However, I just take half if that so a couple of mine this worth. It’s great to find vegan beta alanine!

SOFTGELS
These supplements come in the form of softgels. They are bullet shaped and 15mm long and 5mm wide. (Estimate). They feel hard for softgels and very easy to swallow despite the size. I have felt no adverse effects whilst taking them and I’ve been taking them for 3 weeks now (I think) could have been longer time flies. There’s no flavour or smell to them. There’s 120 in the bottle and the dosage is 4 - a - day. I take just 2 - a - day. The price at the time of review is £24.99 which is more expensive than most of it’s competitors. The description mentions that some consumers get tingles in their stomach shortly after taking a dose, I have never experienced this so I’m unsure what they’re meaning. Maybe it’s because I take just 2 a day. Taking the maximum dose gives you a month supply. I have no idea if this is working for me or not so I can only trust that it does what it says it does. I intend on finishing the bottle but I don’t think I will buy a refill. That’s got nothing to do with the price or quality. I’ve used many maximuscle products and they’ve a always been a good quality so I would definitely recommend these. I can only hope that my review was helpful to you in anyway, thanks for taking the time to read it. -X-

Decent Targeted Amino Acid Supplement
Although my partner probably gets a fair amount of histidine through consuming a lot of meat and dairy (and a reasonable amount of wheat) in his diet to support his workouts/gains he has supplemented with histidine based supplements (both individually and as part of amino acid complexes) as it's a great amino acid for supporting building protein up in the body which is essential to achieve (and keep hold-of) decent gains in weight training. These beta alanine capsules are a good way of helping to support this and you can take them anytime throughout the day so are a good choice if you;re already a bit heavy on loading up with various supplements and powders pre and post workout. You can take these up to four times a day, although he stuck with 3 a day, and however many you decide is right for you just divide that by 24 and take them as close to evenly spaced out gaps within that for the best results - 3 a day works out well for him as it means he takes one every 8 hours which is easy to work into his day and evening. If you take them at the maximum 4 a day they'll last just over a month, so not cheap but not really any more pricey than most supplements he takes to support his weight training so we'd consider them reasonable value too.
