Love these bandai namco kits. This one meets the mark with very high quality pieces and easy to follow instructions, only advice is to be careful with those stickers! Easy to lose and a small pain to assemble. Aside from that the kit is tons of fun and great quality.

My boyfriend had no trouble putting this together and it’s a good sized figure. He hasn’t put the stickers on yet because you need super tiny tweezers, but it still looks really nice displayed with his other Gundams.

This was my first GUNPLA build and I found the building process a welcome challenge. Definitely more complex than the building sets I'm used to. The final figure Is very possible, but hard to keep in a standing position, however the included umbilical cord does help keep it in place. The biggest problem I had with it was with the parts not wanting to stay in place and the stickers not working well. For some reason the right chest plate would not stay in its position and I had to glue that part together. Also, as you pose it little parts will have a tendency to fall off and have to be placed back on. I also had trouble with the sticker around the horn not wanting to stay on and I had to employ some tape to keep it in place. But ultimately when you find a pose and leave it alone it will stay intact, and since this was my first time doing this, my problems could be user error. It is also a very long build. I started at ~10:00 PM, and worked continuously till 5:00 AM! But I'm fine with that, more pleasant alone time with a fun activity! Overall I am very pleased and I will probably buy the other Evangelians so I can display them together!

So I did a bit of research into this and saw that there are mixed opinions on the product, especially the recent reviews:I bought mine from a Japanese seller with pretty good reviews (Amity EXP.) so I was pretty certain that the product was going to be the real deal. So make sure to check the legitimacy before anything, I noticed that there are a few third party Chinese sellers so be careful of that. Also fast/prime shipping comes second hahaThe model is a bit smaller than I expected, so there are gonna be a lot of tiny pieces. Some are harder to assemble than others.The kit comes with instructions but no tools are included, you'll definitely need something to cut the pieces and apply the tiny decals/stickers. I had to buy mine separately.I am halfway done with the project and i'm really happy with the results so far ✨I look forward to finishing it and possibly buying Unit 00 and Unit 02 in the future.TL;DR: Buy from a legit seller, final product is a bit small, 10/10 fun projectJeez this was a long review, but hope that it helps :)

It looks really good, instructions make sense so it’s easy to assemble. For me, one of the parts would not stay on and kept falling off, but i just used glue and now it stays fine. I kinda ended up breaking some pieces tho…

The media could not be loaded. This is my first RG model but wow, it's amazing. Every color you see on the kit in my pictures are all separate pieces! No color correcting stickers! There are decals to detail the model even more but I wanted to show it off just clipped off the runners. I do recommend this for people who want a step above HG model kits as it's not too difficult to put together just take your time.The EVA is super poseable and will hold a lot of poses well. There are a lot of little moving parts that extend and move as you move parts (example: thighs extend and pop up, the chest plates move when the arms move).Only issues I have with the kit is when you arch the back all way, the top part of the spine plate may pop off and the biceps are a little loose but it's manageable!Highly recommend for EVA fans and model kit builders! The other EVA units are getting RG Model kits too so look out for them if you like them more than Unit 01!
