Looking for an IP PoE camera that works with a wide variety of equipment? This is a great choice.I own and use dozens of different Amcrest cameras, and this is my favorite overall. Robust firmware, excellent picture quality in bright sun or deep shadows. Plays well in Frigate and similar open-source NVR systems.Don't be distracted by the idea that an 8MP camera would give you better image quality. That's typically not true. (More pixels means each pixel is smaller, which means fewer photons hit a given pixel, which means poorer sensitivity and noisier images. This is especially problematic in low light.) If you need high resolution for license plate recognition or resolving small things at a distance, choose a camera with a different lens.For most of us who want a general-purpose camera, this is an excellent choice.

Good cameras. Gooder deal.
Excellent cameras. Easy to set up and perform well. I set mine up in Milestone and they were detected right away and worked perfectly - even the microphone. The default settings are good, but some may need to tweak to get the best performance. I plan to buy more to add to my setup.

Replaced Reolink System
I replaced my nvr reolink as I wanted to use a NAS to contribute my systems. These are a better quality and I'm happy with the clarity.I also chose these as the have the internal microSD card option. At for only motion detection it takes a long time to fill that card up.Easy install, but that's where it has some flaws. Previous cameras required removal of a screw to take it down. These require a tab to be pushed in the correct direction. Push it correctly and it fails right off the mount. That's poor at best.The app is horrible. Most options need to be set via a direct IP connection. It's not hard, but it takes a long time. Also, you can't share your setup via QR code or shall invite. It's a manual process via the app. That's also poor.Overall a four star product. Using the NAS surveillance system should eliminate the issues with the app.
