Gwenie's Pastries Piaya 1 Pack (4 pieces per pack) Consume within 5 days or refrigerate

I’ve been craving Piaya for so long now. It’s one of my favorite Filipino snacks growing up in the pho but it’s very hard to find it here in America, especially in the East Coast. I was looking for an easy online option and stumbled upon Gwenie’s Pastries. I’ve never tried their stuff before BUT I SURE AM HAPPY I DID. They came nice and fresh. They taste so good and they flake so nicely. I will definitely continue to buy more. I already recommended these to my mom, so she can buy some for herself in California. Thank you so much for providing us our beloved Filipino snacks Gwenies!

Ever since my travels throughout Asia and the Philippines I've struggled to get a hold of good Asian and Filipino food. Especially since I live in a more rural area. But when I opened the fresh package I immediately was taken back and knew it was going to taste good and it did. My only wish is that there were Ube flavored Piaya as those were my favorite.

Doesn’t taste like anything. Almost like the muscavado filling was watered down.

I was skeptical at first since I have not tried this brand before but after tasting the piaya my bf and I absolutely enjoyed it. Gwenies is probably your best bet for getting some Filipino snacks/pastries since most Filipino websites are either out of stock, only sell generic snacks that you can probably get at every other asian store or does not ship to the u.s.

this is probably a cultural thing but I did not like these at all. There was NO flavor, no sugar, it went in the trash. Sorry.

I am a fan of most of Gwenie’s products except for the Piaya pastries. They taste like hopia, which I really don’t care for, except thinner and filled with brown sugar in the center. Not overly sweet, they came packaged nicely and they don’t taste bad, just not for my favorite.

This has always been a favorite food/snack of mine more than 2 decades ago. The filling is so tasty and yummy. I will never get tired of it. My husband loved it too. Thank you Amazon for carrying this in your list of goodies... that's the reason why I love you too!

Gwenie's products are very good. There are several Filipino bakeries near me but they just have some such as this Piaya that I have not found anywhere. It was a childhood treat for me and I am glad to discover it is still made. The flavor is fresh and pretty good, not too sweet .
