My dad used this material to make a torch to use at a summer camp. The material worked really well for this.

My mother has a small apartment with a not very good landlord. The bathtub had a crack in it that the landlord was not fixing. It was leaking and unsafe. She could not use her tub or take a shower. I took this Kevlar cloth and fixed it thoroughly to the bottom of the tub with a good amount of epoxy to make a composite patch repair of her tub. This worked very well. The repair is very strong and stiff. This material can be used for similar work in addition to other purposes.

Perfect for what it was purchased for

Not overly impressed.In a test with two layers of Kevlar Fabric and one layer of Neoprene (used many times before) some pellets were found incrusted in the neoprene and a lot of indentations on Kevlar as well as the first layer of Kevlar unexpectedly punctured although second layer was not punctured yet.All tests used Barracuda pellets 10.6 gr and Ultra Magnum 10.5 gr (.177 caliber) were used at 10 yards.

Purchased this to protect stuff from feral cats. However this is not real aramid, I suspect. Cuts and tears way too easily.Reading their product description again, "Kevlar woven aramid-based fabric", tells me it's not aramid, it's aramid-based. Probably one gram of aramid to 99 gram of something else. They need to update the product name to "Heat resistant fabric". Although I don't know how heat resistant it actually is. I tried burning it, it does burn just fine.Giving this 3 stars instead of one because I didn't use it for intended application.

This is a high quality kevlar piece. Great for reinforced applications. I'm using this as a skin for a UAV built for high altitude crash tests and so far it appears this will work perfectly! Will update after the tests.Above was prior to test. Below is after the tests...Update 20240111: Worked quite well as reinforcement for the nose of an RC plane. The only part of the RC plane that survived a 500' crash was the part I wrapped in this fabric. The rest of the fuselage sheered off on impact right behind where the fabric ended. Tough stuff but I guess it's an all or nothing type of deal for my application. All in all, this did as well as I expected it to do.
