I received a sample of this in my ipsy bag. And I absolutely loved it. I have extremely dry sensitive skin. My face feels like a babies bottom and not like a gators arse. I wish I could afford a drum of this stuff I'd smear it all over me like butter on toast. So yeah, I really really loved this product and will be buying it again. Oh this is Edwards wife... he won't use it. Guess he doesn't want baby butt soft face.

The first two ingredients in this product's long list are water and denatured alcohol. Aloe is number seven. It is described, however, as an "aloe gel" and recommended for soothing a sunburn. I wish I had read the ingredient list before I bought, because I can't imagine trying to sooth a sunburn with denatured alcohol. I had a slight sunburn when I put this stuff on my face, and it did feel cool, but with a slight sting. Alcohol feels cool on the skin, and since there is a lot more alcohol than aloe in this product I suspect alcohol is what caused the cooling effect, as well as the sting.The cooling effect passed quickly, and the gel was not absorbed by my skin - it dried to a thick paste that now felt warm instead of cool. I can't imagine it as a makeup base any more than as a soothing sunburn treatment. The most enjoyable part of my experience was washing it off.This stuff, however, does score an easy 5 stars for visuals. The glass jar is lovely, and the gel is also - thick and clear - it does look cool.

Love this lightweight aloe moisturizer. It goes on like a thick gel at first but immediately thins out into a fluid consistency as you massage into the skin. I use this for my face and have had no issues with breakouts since I started using it three weeks ago. I bought it to help calm a bad sunburn on my face, and it helped to both soothe and heal the burn. Now I’m just in love with it as a regular daily moisturizer. I’ve been applying this gel under my normal face cream in the mornings and then at night I just apply the gel. It gives me soft and glowy skin. Plus it smells and feels refreshing. Love love love. I’ve already ordered my second jar. (If you use it twice daily as I do, plan on going through the jar in four or five weeks.)

I have two teenagers, who both deal with acne and acne scarring. My son is also on Accutane, which is very drying to the skin. This is the only moisturizer that they will use, and they love it. I have tried so many different moisturizers and this is the only that they are committed to. They love that it keeps their skin hydrated and doesn't feel heavy or tacky on the skin. It also helps with acne and acne scarring, so it is a win in my book!

I originally received this product in the cause box. I have been having skin issues with my face and decided to start using this as a base under my moisturizer. It has actually lessened my wrinkles/acne scars/lines. I stopped using the moisturizer and now use only this. This is my second container. Highly recommend.

Lovely aloe gel. I received the powder cleanser in my summer causebox shipment. So many raved about the aloe gel, I had to try it. They were all correct, it is wonderful! Definitely recommend these products! You will be happy you received them.

Didn’t absolyely hate it but I definitely didn’t love it. It didn’t give my face any lasting moisture which was a bummer because I don’t even have “dry type” skin... but it felt good when it went on the face. Nice and cold which I enjoyed. But it quickly got pushed to the back of my bathroom drawer....Wanted to like it but in the end I just couldn’t get into this product.

Perfect light moisturizer for summer that causes NO acne for my somewhat oily, sensitive, 50 year old skin. It is a staple for me now.
