Pleasantly surprised
Bought this has I wanted to cover the ever increasing stray greys I've been getting but didn't want to bang chemical filled dyes on my hair as the condition of my hair is important to me and I'm growing my hair. Packaging is great and the fact you get the gloves and cap is a nice touch. Mixing was easy, application was extremely messy but fun as because I knew it was natural I didn't mind getting it ALL over myself which I did lol but it washed right off. Applied the earthy smelling green gloop and left for 2 hours as stated and was genuinely intrigued as to what result if any I would get ...I was pleasantly surprised at the end result once rinsed and dried my hair. The colour is beautiful and even and left my hair looking and feeling soft and healthy. I also love that unlike chemical dyes this left no stains on n around scalp or hairline so it looks completely natural. Will defo be using this product again when my hair is ready for another pick me up.Fabulous!

Good henna kit, highly recommend.
There seem to be a few poor reviews on this product by people who apparently have never used henna before. I wanted to clear up a few of these misconceptions in my review. I’ve attached a couple of photos of before (with my budgies perching on me) and after to give you an indication of how it looks after proper application.Misconception clarification;1. The henna isn’t red. The henna powder itself comes from a plant. It is ground leaves and will therefore NOT look red in the bowl or in powder form. It will look like brown sludge. Don’t worry, it’s meant to look like this, it will still tint your hair.2. The henna doesn’t work. (Usually from people expecting firebox red) This is 100% pure henna plant. It does work. How much of a tiny you get depends on your current hair colour, and how long you leave the henna on your hair. Very dark hair might only get a slight reddish tint. I have a mix of very dark, lighter brown and grey, and I ended up with a lovely shade of reddish mahogany with highlights of flame red on my greys. The one change that I would suggest is that you leave it on for longer than the packages says. The instructions say to leave it on for 2 hours - in my experience, that’s the minimum time that henna should be left on hair - I left mine on for closer to 4 hours. Some people leave it on for 6, but after that time there is a risk of drying out your hair and scalp. I find 4 hours to be the sweet spot for me.I was also pleasantly surprised to open the bag to find it was a) resealable (thank you! I have a pixie cut, so only need a small amount) and b) came with hair covering and gloves. Some people find that henna really smells, but I find the scent to be mild and quite nice. If you find yourself put off by it, you can add a few drops of essential oils into the mix to mask it.

Waste of Money Does not work
Hi this product is a complete waste of money. I am familiar with Henna products but this smells and looks like cow patt and does not work. it doesn't cover greys , isn't even black and does nothing to hair. Do not bother

Good hair dye
I usually use a different brand, but the last couple of years i've been finding it harder and harder to get at a reasonable price. Decided to give this one a go, after having used the likes of Lush, surya brasil and others, and not being 100% happy. I have a decent amount of grey strands running mostly in my bangs, and around my hairline. This dye starts off quite dark the first few days and gives me good coverage of my greys for around 3 weeks. You start to see a little more coming in around the 3rd week and by the 4th you know you're ready to re-dye. It makesy haie soft, shiny and manageable and adds a bit of volume that you cant get with chemical dyes. I would recommend 100% but always do a test for colour first.

Good quality
Liked this very fine henna powder. Others have been coarse, with even bits of vegetation included. Quite expensive though and prices of up to £25 per 100g. However, I don’t know if that’s from this supplier so was amazed to see it advertised as £7.81 per 100g. I ordered 2 packets but was so excited at the price, I failed to notice there was £13+ in postage so ended up paying about £29 which still works out cheaper than other suppliers. Just check the offers carefully. It wasn’t Prime next day either but that didn’t really matter.

Brilliant!
First time using this product and henna. Used it as I react to normal box dyes. No irritation at all. Really impressed. I have very dark brown hair with some grey. My brown hair has darkened slightly and my greys are a copper or gold colour, all blend in and look natural. My hair is a nice copper colour in the sun. Application is fairly simple, not much different to a box dye but thicker consistency. My hair is shiny again and looks healthy. Just a nice natural looking colour. Will definitely buy again.
