Exact fit and worked perfectly
You have to love how the furnace only ones to have issues in the coldest days of winter. That is exactly what happened to me. No one near me carried what I need and to order it would not only be more expensive but take even longer so I turned to Amazon as I always do to get what I need the quickest. The first thing you may notice if you’re looking at this is it may not look exactly like yours. My original had to prongs that come out and connect at the tip, don’t worry, this is the correct one for that. It arrived to me in two days and installed in seconds. I would highly recommend this and even ordering a back up in case you experience the same issue in the future.

Perfect swap
This part was a perfect swap for the existing one. Although I do have some maintenance background, this is saved me from hiring an expensive technician.

I needed an furnace igniter, because I broke the other one.
I been having problems with my furnace for about two weeks. I been buying different parts to try to locate the failing part. Made the mistake of rubbing the igniter to hard. Didn't realize it is porcelain instead of metal. No hardware store had it in stock so I needed to order one. So glad Amazon had an Goodman parts supplier in their company lineup. Got my part in one day. It's winter time and you don't need to be in any house without heat. Still haven't figured out what's wrong with it but at least I get it to turn on every now and again.

Looks different, but worked
My original was a Norton 601TB that failed. I believe the second part of the 601T numbers are a date code that doesn't matter. The replacement that was sent looks different. It was solid instead of having a hollow part in the metal and has a shorter exposed metal part. The installation was a bit of a pain, but so was the removal of the original. It partially sat behind the gas valve, but that isn't the igniters fault. It had some extra parts that weren't used in my case. There was a bracket and plug adapter that I didn't need.It fit the existing hole and upon turning everything back on, the igniter turned red and lit the burners. Everything has been working for a little over a month with daily use, so I can't complain.
