I use Onion powder when I don't have the Actual ONIONS In my Kitchen. I love the FLAVOR. I use Onions ALOT. This is a great substitute it's a Nice Big size, so I don't run out.

I can enjoy the flavor of onions in certain foods, but issues with certain food textures usually lead to me leaving fresh onions out of most recipes. This powder is a great alternative to get that flavor in there without the texture. I find that using about one tablespoon for one onion works out fine with this particular powder.

This is a product I use in a lot of my cooking. Usually the grocery stores charge a lot more for this. I am not sure that I can finish this before it hardens into a clump but I’m very pleased to that it’s so cheap.

McCormick has been a house hold name brand used by my wife's family as well as myself, and I purchased this item for my mother. She's always asking for garlic and onion powder to cook with and has a hard time finding them in stores in the larger sizes, and sometimes the store does not have the small containers, so she will ask me to get spices for her when I'm ordering online.McCormick has a great product, great flavor... prices fluctuate, but are not horrible, though there are times where they are quite high even for the smaller containers. If timed right, you can get these items for a great, cheap price, but know you are getting a high quality product and it will add all the flavor into your food and help spice up your life! I use this often to make my pasta sauce, or when making burgers, chicken, chili and add it to my pizza slices for extra flavor.Great product and will continue to use it!
