Burnin' Rubber Infant Costume

This was too cute! We loved the creative baby "patches" - Gasser, Burpz, Fast Nap, GooGoo Year, Formula Fun, etc. We got the 0-6 month size for our 9 month old (who was 7 weeks early, so he's 7 months adjusted). He's a long and thinner baby, so it was a tiny bit short but not an issue. This could, however, fit a very chubby baby easily - there is a TON of room in the middle. Again, our baby is thin, but I don't think my perspective is off when I say this is designed for a short, plus-size baby ;-) The wrists were very hard to get on - my baby has normal size hands, and the wrist openings are super tiny. Some velcro or snaps there would have been a great idea.I didn't actually read the tag, but the costume feels like 1000% polyester straight outta 1974. It didn't seem to bother my baby, but you'd never use this for anything but a costume. We paired it with some decorate party street signs we bought on Amazon for a fun photo shoot to go with his new Combi sports car walker.

Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase (sort of). A few other reviews warned about the wrist openings being too small. And that was definitely the case for us. I had to rip the stitching out on the wrists so his hands could fit through. And the material is very thin. Which could be good if it’s warm where you live. Thankfully for us, there is plenty of room to wear a layer underneath the outfit to provide warmth. The hat is total junk. Literally not even wearable for my 6month old. It was a very odd shape. I’m glad I read the reviews and knew what I was getting beforehand. Overall the outfit it still cute and I think it’s going to work well for us on Halloween
