Works for my Dell speaker bar. It didn't come with a power adapter, but I previously had it attached to a monitor that had a power jack for the speaker bar. After swapping around some screens, the display I wanted to put my speaker bar on had the mount for it but no power. This works well enough, and I don't hear any buzzing that other reviews have mentioned.

Been looking for a power supply for one of my speaker bars that was lost in a move 2 years ago. As these are older model bars for Dell monitors I was worried they might not be available anymore. After inheriting a monitor at work from the President of our company who thought his monitor was defective, I realized I didn't have the power cable for the attached speaker. Not much to say about this cable - it works as it should. Make sure it is compatible with your device, as it is with mine, and click the add to cart button. Nothing bad to say here!

get's the job done..I'm finally able to get power to my speaker that's been collecting dust for over 2 years and the sound is decent and serves it's purpose..only one thing though, I noticed that the power brick on this thing where it plugs in will emit a high subtle tone when the speaker is powered off..noticeable but I just keep the speaker powered on all day to avoid it...still happy with the purchase

This does what it's supposed to do, but when I unplugged it to plug it in a different socket, the casing immediately popped off. I was able to get it back on, but....for how long?

When I upgraded another computer system, the Dell sound bar no longer had a power source, so I borrowed the power brick from another system. This item replaced the "loaned" power brick.In the Dell sound bars we have, the power plug for the sound bar is MALE requiring a FEMALE connector on the power brick. Taking the information from the original power brick: DSA-15P-12US 120120, a 12v, 1A, center positive switching power adapter. Amazon showed multiple versions with the same coding, all referring to Dell sound bars. Most of the pictures showed the power adapter with the male plug very typical of power adapters used in all sorts of devices. However the one associated my Dell sound bar needed the female plug on the power adapter, the one showed with his device.Plugged it in and I now have another working sound bar nicely attached to the display monitor. Prompt arrival and product was what I needed for my upgrade on my Dell monitor sound bar. It`s a power source. My smaller sound bar that came woith the monitor got it`s power from the monitor. This better sound bar just needed it`s own power supply. Worked right out of the box and is still working good now.
