Although it’s not going to stop the most determine criminals. It is still an excellent deterrent and is loud enough.

Great at letting me know when the doors and windows are opened. I arm them when I’m alone and when I have littles over to know if they’ve opened the front door! I wish it had WiFi to send a notification when I’m not home, but these are more simple. 👍 I’m so glad you can turn the alarms off when you don’t want the alerts!

I got these for my stays at an airbnb and a hotel while travelling/living alone. Let me tell you, you don't want to accidentally set these off- they are SO loud. They definitely helped me to sleep at night and added a layer of comfort that I didn't have before. The only reason I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because the stickiness on the back is almost too sticky. These would be perfect for a house or long-term stay, but for a hotel or airbnb, I really worried about peeling off the paint on the door/frame as I removed these after my stay. One stuck on so hard that I had to use a knife to remove it and it pulled the sticky part right off of the unit and all of the insides fell out. With 10 in a pack I didn't mind to have to throw one away, but they definitely are not designed to be moved often (or at all). Still, for a long term stay or for a home, these are easy to use, extremely effective, and provide an added layer of safety and security.

I had an intermittent leak on my hot water heater and when it leaked it made a huge mess. My technician told me to keep an eye on it to study then problem. The tank is in the basement and I don’t go down often. To track it I put a shallow pan under the area plus one of the alarms and it was a great help as it sounded whenever it started leaking. While I ended up with a new tank I put one under the new one and the used the extra units by my sump pump and water softener. Everyone should get these!

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this to attach to a window that’s in my garage. I’m very impressed with how easy it was to attach. It’s small but will definitely be heard if someone tries to open the window. I decided to insert it in the very right, upper side of the window. If you look closely the window frame and glass pane are not flush. I wasn’t sure if it would still work if it wasn’t aligned perfectly but to my surprise it did! If you aren’t sure about where to place the device I recommend just using some tape to see if it will work before taking off the 3M sticker on the back. The device is not actual metal but a plastic material, so it’s light enough to place anywhere. There is a small on and off switch on the left side when facing the alarm. So, consider this as well with your final placement. It takes 3 round batteries inserted at the bottom, that the vendor does provide with the alarm. I’m not sure how often they will need to be changed yet. I just added a reminder to my phone to check the alarm the first of each month since this is for security purposes.

These are so quick and easy to install. They’re ear piercingly loud and work well. Sadly they do not hold up well. The magnetic pieces fall off and/or apart. Out of the lot there’s maybe 3 windows that remain functional. A better design on the magnetic pieces is definitely needed.

Great value, even if it wasn’t a 2 pack (which it is). Well made. Comes with 2 replacement batteries. Easy on/off switch. Installed with the included strips a week ago & has held firmly.We bought this only to pass a city inspection for our pool. It’s unbelievably loud- which is wonderful for houses with small children. So if that’s you- go for it. If you just need it to pass an inspection- also go for it. If you are thinking of using these as general security - go for it with eyes wide open. In the middle of the night this would very likely scare the heck out of an intruder (which is wonderful!), but if there’s a chance a welcome person might set it off often (because there is no way to delay the noise - it goes off as soon as the door/window is opened) be ready for the ear splitting noise.None of this is a downside, but I had no way to comprehend 120db. I did look at YouTube videos, but the sounds were all different & 120db is entirely relative to the annoying nature of the sound being measured.

We bought these for my precious Mom. We researched many security devices for doors and windows, but this one stood out. They work absolutely great, we set ethe setting on the highest sound. Believe me if anyone tries anything, the neighbors will hear. Recommend.
