This ramen has amazing flavor. It’s quick to cook. I only use half the seasoning packet. If you like it more salty and hot, then you could add the whole packet. The hot sesame oil is pretty spicy. I add a teaspoon of regular toasted sesame oil.

This is my favorite Ramen EVER! It's delicious and the perfect amount of Spicy.

I recently fell in love with the Ottogi Jin Ramen Mild, which instantly became a new favorite (top 5). When I went back to buy more, I stumbled on this Sesame/Egg one, and I'm so glad I did! The reviews were amazing and it looked/sounded so good based on what I saw online. Well, it met and possibly even exceeded my expectations and I think it even topped the Ottogi Jin Ramen Mild for me. (others on the favorites list include Nongshim Shin Black, Mama Creamy Tom Yum, Samyang JJajang/Buldak, Nissin Demae Black Garlic Oil). It is a little spicy, but not overpoweringly so; certainly nothing like Shin Red or Samyang Buldak. The "egg block" is cool. It doesn't really add much flavor that I can tell but adds a little texture like that of egg drop soup. The broth is tasty and the sesame oil is always welcomed. $2.60 for a pack of ramen is certainly on the high end, but it is worth it. I didn't even add anything to it, but you easily could to make it more filling and make a true meal out of it. It's an easy 5/5 rating for me.

Like other reviewers I did not know this was spicy. It’s not unbearable by any means (depending on your spice tolerance of course) but a nice kick and great flavor! Definitely a new favorite.

When I decided to try these noodles I was already expecting they will be spicy thanks to reviews. But the packaging doesn't mention that it's spicy at all, so I understand why some folks would be disappointed if they thought this would be mild. Personally I do like a little kick and really loved this soup base, but felt it was just a tad spicier than what I'm used to. So after I cooked the noodles and transferred it to a bowl, I put in a dollop of sour cream and mixed it in. It was the perfect spice level for me! I top it with some chopped green onion and sometimes I will add a soft boiled egg, and when I do this I don't use the egg block. Definitely a new go to noodles for me!

Spice level very mild with well blended seasonings without excessive sodium.Kids enjoyed adding an egg and swirling it through just as you finish cooking and serve with thin sliced green onion on top.

This ramen has a really good flavor. But it is too spicy for me. Like the the point that it had my gut upset the entire next day. But I also have a sensitive digestive system. Wish I could find a good ramen that isn’t spicy af.

A most delicious ramen broth. Probably second to none. Just the wonderful sesame aroma is by itself worth the purchase of this ramen. It is spicy, but it's spiciness is ameliorated by adding vegetables and meat. Buy it, try it.
