Great addition to my pre-existing biomaster 600
The build feels solid and it does what it's supposed to. I use it with the biomaster 600 (It's cheaper to buy the biomaster and heater seperately than if you got the biomaster thermo model) and installation was simple since it comes with the adapter. It keeps the temp steady and the little red light lets you know when it’s running. I really like that it fits right into the filter so there’s nothing hanging in the tank. Takes up zero space inside the aquarium which is a big plus for me. It’s not the cheapest heater out there but it feels reliable and well made, and I haven’t had any issues with it so far. Seems like it’ll last a while.

Excellent heater either alone or with OASE biomaster filter
This is an excellent heater. You can either use this separately like any other heater, or what I personally did was use it with my biomaster filter from Oase. It makes it very easy because I don’t have to keep the heater inside the tank. It’s perfect size for my 90cm Oase scaperline tank. Easy to adjust temperature, very durable, and accurate. The ease of use for me is so important I won’t ever buy another heater other than these.

Works Great in a Bio Master 600
I have this in a Oase Bio Master 600 canister filter and the combination works well in my 90 gallon. Not only is it nice to have the heater removed from the tank space, but the heating of the filtered, circulated water seems to keep the entire tank a consistent temperature. The heater temperature setting dial was spot on for my tank, too. If the setting vs actual should be off, you can calibrate it to your own set up. The only down side having the heater in the filter is the there is no on/off indicator visible. I have to unplug the heater to service the filter, so some sort of visual indicator other than temperature would give a little reassurance I didn't forget to plug it back in or maybe damaged it from handling. If tank mounting, the clip seems well made and designed and Oase has very good suction cups that stay attached and they have a little tab to lift an edge for easier removal.

Awesome, hidden heater!
Works great and keeps the temp where I want it. Love getting it out of the tank and out of sight in the filter.

Great
I bought this to add to my OASE bio master 600. Love that it is integrated inside the filter vice having to hide it in the tank.

Back up
Have not actually used this one I got it for a back up. I have this same one in the canister filter and that one is holding temp great.

Surprised
A week into use inside a 75 gallon and not inside an oase filter, this is by far, the most noisy heater I have ever used. Most larger heaters make plenty of on and off clicks as they cycle. After this cycles to on it makes several bumping sounds (that I can best describe as what sounds like heavy drops of water dropping from the tank to the floor) while the heat regulates through the whole heater. To top it off, everytime it cycles off there is a heavy rattling noise in the coils. As if someone flicked the heater. Maybe inside of the filter as it was designed it won't be so loud. The description says inside the tank as well, but I'd look for other options.
