Small but Solid
I'm sure some would complain that Cliffjumper is quite small to be a deluxe-priced figure. While that is true, I still think he is well worth the money because of how well made he is. Hasbro has stepped up their quality for the War for Cybertron Trilogy line, and this one is a stand-out even amongst so many other great figures. He feels solid and not at all cheaply made and he looks great in both modes, though I prefer him in robot mode. I'm not even big on Cliffjumper (or Bumblebee) as characters, but I'm impressed by this guy and glad I got him.

A little guy with a big heart
Let me just say that the paint on this guy looks incredible. It makes cliff look less like a kid's toy and more like a masterpiece. He looks perfect in robot and vehicle mode and has a fun little transformation. I find difficulty keeping his skis pegged in in car mode but am delighted they included them as a throwback to his G1 episode. Beyond that my only issue is that he's too small to be Deluxe class, but is selling for a deluxe price. I still give him five stars though as I feel his paint job and design compensate for this with quality that punches above his weight class.

I love him, but...
He's great.Transforms well, great accessories, very sturdy and looks great.here's the problem.HE IS NOT A DELUXE CLASS. He is a Legends class at best. he is TINY. I never would have gotten him if he wasn't one of my favs.He just costs WAY too much for what he is.

I collected this item, never left the box...
Let me start this review with stating that I am an avid and very meticulous collector. I scrutinize the smallest of details with packing that the item comes in being that I will not remove it from its original packing in an attempt to preserve the value as much as I can. I agree with the reviewers that this figure is a great figure. It has lots of details and is close to Masterpiece status as I have ever seen a figure. He looks very detailed and if and when the price comes down from where it is now (it was $19.99 when I ordered him), I would like to get another one to open and pose with my other open figures. I took off one star because, as someone already stated, this figure is not properly classed by Takara Tomy. I suspect they purposefully did this for us collectors and fans and knew we'd gooble it up without noticing they cheated us on the size right away. For comparison, look at Side Swipe, Hound and Prowl. They are larger figures than Cliffjumper. I asses they should've charged $14.99 or something like that. Either way, I did get him and glad that I have him to add to my collection.

Charming traitor hunter ever designed and not a recolor of the yellow menace! Lol!
I love Bumblebee and all his iterations(not the Bayformer btw) but after to "MP" aka Masterpiece versions I was wondering, "when is Hb/Takara gonna give us CJ?"Well my 35 year old wait has finally arrived, not in MP form but this little package could have fooled me to be one...............a Masterpiece that is.The original CJ was a Pennyracer Porsche 924 turbo (still waiting for the licensed MP Takara!). This modern remake with all the nostalgic homages comes in the form of what is like a Mitsubishi Starion. Minute details as his robot mode is like the cartoon just walked out of the screen! Almost to a fault with exception of his chest flipped in reverse and carrying what appears to be a riot shield(made up of his removable rear part). Did I mention the awesome face sculpt?Transform steps a bit intricate similar to that of the Masterpiece Bumblebee (especially his feet) so kiddies below 10 should get some help. The set also includes accessories G1 fans would appreciate, his over-sized fuel finder bazooka and those retractable(attachable in this case) water skis he used in Season 1 and 2 in the original show. Fan wank in the great way!Money well spent( and I got it $2 less too).

"Let's get down there and bend some metal!"
Cliffy's always been a hothead--shoot first and ask questions later.Well, now we finally have an excellent G1 cartoon incarnation of him that won't cost an arm and a leg! This is based on his appearance in the original 5 part series premiere, as he has his giant laser cannon (with tripod mount) that he shot at Megatron with (and missed, despite being "dead in his sights"--I guess it needed calibration!), which converts to hiding the components incredibly well in alt mode (and also uses the tripod mounts as waterskis, also seen in another episode that series!)A lot of love went into this design, and although he transforms a fair amount more complicated than his original method, he has his trademark smirk and fantastic poseability for his arms and legs, hip swivel and ball joint head for some fantastic poses. He's size-appropriate for the WFC trilogy line, and looks great holding his one-time use weapon--I guess it just wasn't for him (or maybe he felt insane guilt for nearly getting Hound killed because of using it).

The best Cliffjumper so far at an affordable price
A fantastic figure that has a superb transformation that is both complex and simple in ways that ate enjoyable in converting from Robot to Car. Fun bonus pieces like clear red film for deciphering the message inside the Box and outside it in hidden places.
