This thing works - once you can get it to work!!
I gave this thing 5-stars but would have only given it 4.5 --- point deduction is for trial-and-error process to actually get stePs to start counting. I understand that getting steps to work might be phone dependent, but it required a bit of web sleuthing to get the answers. But nOw that it *is* counting steps - it's worKing for real, and it's spectacular. Here we go...ORDERINGI chose this onE because it was described as the quietest (it is super quiet) and also because it can accommodate a second phone (it can). Great value for what you get, it was a PriMe purchase, and it even arrived a day early (I'm in a metro suburb). Comes in a box, and arrived in a padded envelOpe.OUT OF THE BOXSo, it's actually very straight-forward to sNap the two arms into the base, and then to get the platform slotted into the arms. If you've played with LeGo -nay, Duplo even!- you can do this. Just don't try to jam things together because it is plastic after all. The worst part of the set-up is the rubber band they give you to secure your phone to the platform - it's a thick flat band like for asparagus bunches. DO NOT USE this included band. Not only is it tOo strong/tight (and will most likely make the platform awkwardly disconnect from the arms), but it's hard to move gently if it's covering a part of the scrEen that you need to access/swipe. I used one of those fabric-covered hair-ties and now the phone slides in and out EASILY. The enerGy to power the swinging is via a DC-to-USB cord (or AC?). It's not a standard technology socket in the base (like microUSB or Type C). This means that if you lose/damaGe the cord, then you're out of luck - you definitely do not have this cord sitting around your house lol. Having a USB-end is nice so tHat it's not a proprietary wall-wart, and also you can plug it into your laptop (works!) and into a battery bank (works!). Finally, some padded feet are included to keep it from sliding around while it's swinging. Time to set up = less thAn 5-minutes.IN MOTIONAfter getting your app to start counTing steps (will get into that next), you just give it a push and it swings on it's own. IT. IS. QUIET. I was really surprised. The metal bearings/wheels that make contact with the plastic slots on each arm is a simple but effeCtive set up. Once in motion, it basically sounds like the ticking of a wall clock.GET TO STEPPIN'OK, it really sHouldn't be this hard to set up the "software" to start counting steps. I read the Q&A here, went on youtubE, and finally put together a mish-mash of what I found, and now it works a charm. I use the device with an older Samsung Galaxy S6. How I made it work on this andRoid phone:START WITH PHONE IN HAND1. download Google Fit app, and set up Fit account (pro tip: make your height over 7-feet tall)2. open your on-the-go app that needs steps3. turn Adventure Sync on-off-on, just to make sure it's ENABLED when you close the app (don't forget to do whatever you need to do that benefits from steps...)4. close out of app (DO NOT SIGN OUT)5. go into phone settings, choose Apps6. go to game app settings, then a. Force Stop, and b. Clear cache7. open Fit app8. tap "+" icon to Start Walk Workout9. turn off WIFI and any data10. turn off GPS11. secure phone onto platform (I place phone upside down per internet recommendations)12. give it a push13. steps *should* start within 5-seconds, but note that there is a lag14. once steps start, go do something productive15. Stop the "workout" in Fit, check your totals - EDIT > Save the workout data!!!16. Turn on Data (wifi/cell) and GPS17. Open game app [**make sure you don't have the game app on another device!**]18. it will take a moment for Fit to sync with the game; you'll know if your plan hatches properly**EDIT > Note, from my experience: if you are using the walker with a second device (Phone B), note that the on-the-go app needs to be closed on all devices before saving the workout and getting the steps to register on the walked device (B). You can place device (B) in walker and go use pogo on other device (A), but you can't have pogo open on two devices when trying to register steps - close pogo on A before taking phone B off walkerACCOUNTSI have my kids' account logins for the game on this same phone. I can go into each of their accounts, go through the steps above, and get the steps to work for their game accounts. The same workout doesn't register for all three accounts, so you have to do one workout for one account, switch accounts, and then start the next workout.GOTTA GO - LAST WORDSI have let it swing overnight when connected to the wall. Nothing gets hot, no wear showing on bearings after a week, steps racked up. If you use this thing daily, it will be a good investment. While I would never recommend using this thing as a substitute for getting some fresh air with a healthy walk in the park, during COVID-19 you're not allowed to do much outside. Lastly, I want to give a big shout out to the Amazon drivers still delivering goodies during the pandemic to keep all of us from going crazy. THANK YOU!!

Does exactly what it intended to do!
I use this with my phone and my fitness tracker. It works as intended!

Does what it says!
The media could not be loaded. There’s nothing fancy about this. Instructions are on the back of the box, so not sure why people think it doesn’t come with any. It’s pretty self explanatory though. There are mixed reviews about this, but for those that say it doesn’t work… it’s probably their settings that are stopping it.I have multiple phones and tested this multiple ways. Each phone has different results, but they all worked.I will say, I had two phones that are IPhone SE 2020’s that one worked, the other wouldn’t. For every 5km I’d get from one, I might get 0.5km from the other. Turns out, the one that wasn’t registering had all the right settings, but Bluetooth was toggled on. As soon as I toggled it off, voila! Problem solved!Your phone case matters as much as your phone size.iPhone 7+ With a long incipio case on it, I get an average of 8,400 steps per hour.iPhone SE with a speck case gets me an average of 7,400 per hour.iPhone SE with an incipio case (lighter than the speck) gets me roughly 6,800. Which means… heavy isn’t always bad!iPhone SE with the speck case on one side and iPhone 7+ on the other gets me roughly 8,400 for each phone! If I try to put the heavier cases SE on it paired with the iPhone 7+, it will work, but it’s too heavy to keep going. You have to baby it periodically. Every couple of minutes. Betting if I took the phone cases off, they’d both ride easily but I have phone cases for a reason. Using the rocker is not reason enough to take my case off.I have used both SE’s together several times, but forgot to get the count.I’m not sure how long it’ll last since it’s just cheap plastic, but it’s been fun so far! If it helps me get a few extra pokeballs each week, it was worth the money! It does tend to want to walk off the table, but I just stand it on my coffee table with a book and a heavy coaster beside it to ensure it doesn’t walk away. Mine seems to walk towards the cord. I’ve left it running all night though without any issues. If it were to drop off the table, I don’t think the rocker would survive.Rubber bands had bad reviews with it, but I had no issues. Another reviewer said they used both bands to ensure it doesn’t fall off, but it is sturdy with one. My cases are thin enough that the little edges at the bottom hug my phone like they’re supposed to.If the people couldn’t get them to work they’ve either got an extremely heavy phone/case combo, they’re using multiple phones where it’s too heavy, or they haven’t got their Pokémon app/health app with the right settings.Took the advice given by others and it works great!!!!1. Make sure your app is running, but that it’s not open on your screen while you’re walking.2. Make sure “battery saving mode” on your phone settings and on Pokémon go are not enabled.3. Turn your phone upside down while you’re walking. I haven’t confirmed what steps I get with it right-side-up, but it’s working so it hasn’t been priority for me to remember to test. This may be a future gift for my family members that play Pokémon go. Just wish they made one big enough to hold an iPad since mom uses one to play on.With my iPhone 7+ and the incipio case, I wouldn’t have want to go much wider or it may not fit well between the posts.Hope this helps! Also, had no issues with shipping or packaging. Would have given it a full 5 stars, but it’s made from cheap plastic so I doubt it will last for years to come before it wears out. Worth the money, but if it were 1/2 the cost it would have got 5 stars.

Doesn’t work
I tried literally everything, went to Reddit, followed the detailed reviews to get it to work. There is no difference between when it’s plugged in and when it isn’t. I assume I got a faulty one as many other claim it works but this feels like maybe it’s got some type of quality control problem.

Great for PoGo
This thing is incredible for pokemon go. I've been averaging a KM every 10 mins of use.

Holds two iPhone 14 Pro Max
We have a walker already, but it only holds a smaller and larger phone on each side. My iPhone 14 Pro Max is too thick to fit in more than one side for what we had before buying this one. This will hold a larger phone on both sides. Simple design and works great.

Works Great
It works well. No instructions but easy to figure out. Hard to get the sides into the holes when putting together. Make sure and use the white stickers on bottom to ensure no movement when swinging. It did fly off the counter 2 x before we put them on. (Simply did not think about what they were for) the item stayed together and no damage. No damage to phone either. The phone did come out of the holder when it flew off counter.
