Nongshim Chapagetti Chajang Noodle, 4.5 Ounce (Pack of 4)

Originally purchased this to make chapaguri with beef. Then I decided to make it on its own to see what that would be like. Delicious! Nice beefy and oniony flavor. I likened it to it being like if you made French onion soup thick enough it became a sauce. Not as sweet and no large pieces of onion; just the flavor. Firmer noodles are better, so be sure to use room temperature water. You don’t want it to cook the noodles to fast. But you do have to cook it until the sauce is sticking to the noodles and no longer soupy at all. I pre cook some beef or pork pieces and add them on after I make the noodles. Yummy. I love Korean food so it may be that I’m used to that flavor profile.

It was a bit weird to prepare because I'm so used to the soup kind of noodles but the taste was really great.

I was excited to try this , but it tastes bitter to me and i wonder if that's just me or if that's how it usually tastes ?

Expiration date 9/23 on the package that was a little alarming. This is my first time trying this flavor I was interested in the color of the noodles from the sauce and became more invested when I read potential what the sauce would taste like. This was not at all what I expected, the taste is indescribable and the only simple way I can explain the taste is bad! Awful! Is another word to simply describe the taste of these noodles will not buy again and try at the risk of your own taste buds.
