What I've been looking for...
Really like this lightweight styling creme. I have tried a lot of them. I have thick hair, medium length, a little dry at times. I use a dab of this after towel drying, distribute with my fingers, then a quick , wide tooth brush and let it dry. No real scent, very lightweight and does not cake-up like many of these products. Not sure this is really for someone who wants to do a lot of "styling" or have all-day "hold", but I like that is is just enough to give my hair some body and "finish". Not cheap, but not as expensive as many, and a much better product. I'll be back.

The Essential First Step to Great Style
This is pure magic. If you want to keep your hair in a conditioned state all day, this is your product. As a pre-styler, it works extremely well in preparing the hair for any end products like gel, pomade, and clay. The product itself is a super light cream with a very light hold. How to Apply1. Towel dry hair (Meaning apply pressure but do not ruffle up your hair with towel).2. Blow dry for 30-45 seconds to get any remaining loose water.3. Apply a gum drop sized mount on your hand and work through hair.4. This is *Critical*, use a fine tooth comb and go through your hair several times to distribute the product.5. Blow dry again for 2-3 minutes and then apply normal sculpting product.Protip - You will become addicted, keep a second bottle avail.

Great stuff. I tried, I feel like, the 3 most popular "luxury" grooming creams. V76, baxter and Malin Goetz.Baxter was great, very light hold. More water-based than the others (you can see in the video).ScentBaxter-It has a citrus scent, that is really just there to give it a smell. Not a huge fan (kind of reminded me of Lysol wipes), but it's clearly just meant to be a natural smell that won't put off those who don't like perfumes in hair products. Very light.Malin-Sage scent, little stronger than Baxter.V76-The best cologne scent I've ever smelled. Some type of cedar, it seems like a personal opinion but I loved it.ConditioningBaxter-The conditioning is great, I think a few notches behind Malin Goetz, which is a heavier cream. But it still feels great to touch just comes out slightly drier. The oils in the ingredient list, and shea butter are pretty low in the ingredient list with silicones at the top.Malin-Love it, perfect for my hair which is thin in the front, straight slightly wavy, little dry. I feel like it does the most of the 3, but can't say for certain till a few months of use. Silicones at top of the list, but also oils. Conditioning but also probably too greasy for some.v76-Eh, Not great, however, I think it's meant to be blow-dried. I only air-dried and it came out a bit hard and stringy. After breaking it up, it still didn't feel as great as the others. Didn't make me feel that the hair was being strengthened. It reminded me a lot of American Leave in Conditioner back in the day. Some ingredient betwen the two just does not agree with my hair or scalp, hard to explain, but just did not feel as good as for thinning hair, as if the roots are not as strong when I brush through. Has an aluminum starch as the top ingredient which I think explains it, makes hair look great but not feel great. Includes more exotic oils than the other too, not too far down the list so it's not all bad. Of course, it has silicones, like the others so make sure to shampoo hair often.V76 grooming cream though has an nice ingredient list, and acts somewhat the same way as the v76 styling cream.LookBaxter-The most natural look of the 3, lowest shine, no grease. Little stringy if too much is concentrated in one area. Extremely light weight though, good for those who dont want to weigh thinner hair down.Malin-Very good, but it is a thick cream so you're going to get somewhat of that look.v76-I only used it a few times, but this is probably where it shines. Looks like silk. I assumed it's supposed to be blow-dried, because once you break it up, it gives a really nice matte, shine.HoldNone of them, really, unless you're styling somewhat in the direction of where your hair falls. Malin is the best, with Baxter being last.ConclusionMalin - Oil/Silicone heavy, probably most conditioning. Sage can stimulate scalp. Least stringy, groups hairs, heavy but not enough to weigh hair down too much.Baxter - Very lightweight, somewhat conditioning, Silicone heavy. Good hold if blow dried into place before using. Natural look.V76- Beautiful look afterwards, albiet stringy, not very volumizing but not heavy. Stronger hold than the others. Ingredients at the top look more like a gel, i.e. polymers, but can be broken up after drying to look natural/satiny. Best look out of the 3 in terms of shine. Lots of exotic oils. Sunflower can be good for hair growth.

Nice light hold
Been looking for a men's hair product that doesn't make my hair crispy or even look like I have product in it at all. This was a good find! Just a little bit and it props my hair up perfectly and doesn't leave any residue or make my hair look shiny. I tend to run my fingers through my hair a lot, and it keeps a good hold even after messing with my hair during the day.It has a very subtle scent, kind of a natural herb smell. It doesn't linger though and I only smell it when I initially put it in my hair. Bit expensive for how much product you actually get, but I'm willing to pay it for a decent product.

Not good as a stand alone product
I wanted to get something that would add some weight to my hair on days I didn’t feel like styling it. This ended up making my hair frizzy, which was the opposite the reason I bought it.That said, when paired with the clay pomade (added on top, after pomade application) it did seem to settle the stray hairs which wanted to do their own thing.I don’t think I’d buy this again though.

Very light weight, good w/ cream pomade
I've been buying BofC products for a few years now, specifically the clay and cream pomades. I recently grew my hair out to around 4 inches, and it was getting difficult to tame with just the cream pomade because of how thick the cream was. This grooming cream was too light weight to hold my (thick, wavy) hair in place, but when mixed with the cream pomade, it was perfect. Much easier to work through my hair, with almost as much hold as the cream pomade by itself. Just be careful not to use too much grooming cream, it'll make your hair look a little wet/shiny instead of "natural" like it says.

Good product not messy
Easy product to use and mess with through the day. Don’t recommend for curly hair like mine.
