The Anivia Webcam Stand is a versatile and sturdy scissor tripod mount designed for webcams and cameras. It features double-braced arms for stability, a mini ball head for 360-degree rotation, and a flexible gooseneck that extends up to 13.4 inches. Compatible with various devices, it easily clamps onto most surfaces, making it perfect for creators and professionals alike.

Perfect for a webcam or light mic.
Reasonably sturdy construction (it's only supposed to hold a webcam), easy to assemble, and well packaged. Only complaint is the springs are a bit too tight to fold the stand completely at the moment (it springs back open very slightly but not enough to be an issue), I'm sure they'll break in over time so I'm not going to take off a star for that. The parallel arm design works well and it has a swivel mount with a thumb screw to set it in place on the (rather wide) clamp provided. Will update after attempting to mount a Yeti Blackout mic to see if it will support the weight of a heavier mic.*edit*It will support a heavier mic but yeti has a different mount apparently. Using it for my Canon EOS M50 to record in higher quality than my webcam. Still 5 stars.

Also works well with your phone
This is a really great stand, that works well with not only the webcam but with you phone as well. I had a simple attachment from my selfie stick and it held my phone perfectly. The stand clips onto just about any surface, that isn’t extremely thick, and holds on without leaving a mark. Very easy to use, you can adjust the height and depth of the stand, then tighten in to make sure it stays where you want it.

Good but...
Like everybody else, I am working from home and doing a lot of webcam meetings. I bought this device so I could adjust my webcam as needed to optimize my image (I need help in this area...). It is sturdy enough for a lite-weight webcam but it does not give the impression of being heavy duty, but then again, you don't need that for a webcam. Also the bite on the bracket does not open wide enough to accommodate my desk which has a 2.5 inch thick border on it. This edge hides the built in desk drawer. Overall, I like it because it very adjustable and sturdy enough.

Perfect for the home office.
I purchased the Anivia Clamp Mount Suspension Scissor Tripod Stand specifically to use with a 8" LED Selfie Ring (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P3HGX1P) and I couldn’t be more pleased. The stand uses a standard 1/4-20 UNC thread meaning the light fit perfectly. Additionally, the swivel mount allows me to move the light in literally any direction, meaning if I’m on camera I can illuminate my face or if I’m reading a document, I can illuminate my desk. Construction is solid for light-weight applications like the selfie-ring or a web cam. The mount is very stable and the springs strong, but not so strong that they prevent you from making the adjustments you need. In today’s work from home climate, the Anivia Clamp Mount Suspension Scissor Tripod Stand should be standard issue for every desk.

A Camera Mount With No Quick Release = Tedious, Annoying And Frankly, Cynical...Return
Just returned a DIFFERENT table mount for my camcorder because, as well constructed as it was, it was some type of torture trying to get the camera off the mount. Not to mention that when you want to make a simple adjustment and try to lean over and fiddle with your camera it is completely immobile and inaccessible unless you are an acrobat. That was on me, though. You have to think over your work flow and anticipate these issues, but you probably won't unless you are at least a semi-pro and have gone through this rodeo before. The camera for this particular setup of mine is a light, small, modern camcorder and that was why I bought this inexpensive Anivia Webcam Stand. But now I realize that it was an assumption on my part that the swivel mount part had some type of quick release. I naively thought it was a T-screw on a simple stud (common with camera rigging gear). YOU HAVE TO SCREW AND UNSCREW YOUR CAMERA FROM THE STAND. That might seem obvious to you camera wizards. But what if your webcam has a non-detachable USB cable? Don't they all?Not having a quick release becomes annoying quickly. Very quickly.Don't even think about putting a DSLR on this if the cautionary principle prevails in your daily work, despite the fact that the scissor unit itself is quite good (see below). Maybe a micro 4/3rds if you are a master at cheaping-out and have various insurance policies to go along with it. But I would never trust it. A webcam or a light plasticky thing, yes, but not a $1k camera. My old T4i....no!Still, with an easy quick release attachment it would conceivably be possible to attach a "heavier" camera, though...possible.When you are trying to get your camera free and off the stand, the swivel loosens and your camera lolls from the ball joint like it has a broken neck - make sure you are sure-fingered when the last thread breaks free or Mr C920 is going to hit your fancy hardwood floor. That's one of the many reasons why manufacturers should cease and desist in with these unnecessarily janky setups.Every serious tripod has a quick release. Why not this unit?===> By the way, the photo makes it look like you could clamp this to a table and have a groovy photo shoot with a tall and dashing business exec....uh, not quite. Pay close attention to the specs/measurements. It is a rather diminutive unit. The photo makes it look like it's 4 ft tall or something. It would probably be the correct height for necktie photos or buxom brassiere shots but not 6ft tall men unless your table was bar height.===> On a positive note, the main unit itself is good for what it is. I expected the scissor arms to move around but they do not move arbitrarily at all. They are quite firm. The unit is made of lightweight aluminum and I like the matte black finish. Except for the lack of work-flow functionality, the scissor unit is well-designed.I am not sure if other people will or won't mind the extra hassle of unscrewing your camera but it's not going to work for me.

Will not break during camera positioning. Well made sturdy. This is the mount you want.
After buying almost every kind of camera mount offered here and other platforms. I have had nothing but issues one after the other. They either break during set up or are utterly frustrating to position and often do not operate as described during purchase. I quickly did a mock set up and position test and although i havent used this item during filming yet from past disappointment I can already tell i have a quality product that will finally accomplish the task i purchased it for. Thank you!!!

Good value for price.
I have a large desk with monitors over 36 inches away. Standard webcam includes too wide an angle and includes too much background in my home office. This bracket allows me to mount a cell phone in a spring clip and use the DroidCam app to pair the phone's camera with the computer to have a close-up of my face for Zoom meetings. The bracket is secure enough for any lightweight device, such as a cell phone or small video camera. It would not be useful for a heavy camera such as a DSLR.
