so long as the FOH board has enough juice (and all the modern ones have more than enough), this little thing is great. sounds totally fine to me. I use it as a backup for when my wireless has too much noise and/or I don't have to move around much. For a unit that needs no batteries, you can't really go wrong. I ended up buying two.

Needed this for my in ears to play at church and it does me very good no problems at all. For any drummers or musicians this will fit you very good.
