JUBESNata De Coco - Coconut Gel 12.7oz [Pack of 6] (Lychee)

I am a sucker for trying anything a little bit different when it comes to food. This is an Asian product and not a texture that we Americans are used to. But I love them. Not sure how I was introduced to them, but glad I was directed to them, otherwise I never would have thought to buy them. Didn't know they existed.They come in a pouch and you have to cut the top and either use the pouch as your serving container, or spoon them into a bowl. Eat them with a spoon.They are small (half inch) jelly blocks in a few ounces of flavored water. It's the water that really provides the taste. (I've tried the Grape and Lychee so far.) The jelly blocks remind me of Knox-Blox, if you ever had those as a kid. Like Jell-O, but with extra gelatin that requires chewing rather than melting in your mouth. If you don't think you'd like that kind of mouth-feel, these are probably not for you.But I like them. It's a tasty, refreshing, fun-to-eat, mildly sweet snack.

I got these to try because I really enjoy having other treats that contained nata de coco cubes. At first I wasn't quite sure what to think, but by the time I finished the first package, I was hooked. The texture on the cubes varies a bit, and some of them were a lot chewier than I'd initially expected, but I quickly found that I enjoyed having the chewier ones and it helped them last a little longer. I do wish that they offered a smaller size; I tried cutting some of them down to suit the size I'd hoped for, but cutting them at home doesn't work out super well and they come out uneven and slightly squished. However, for just eating out of the package instead of adding to drinks/etc, they're fantastic. I plan to try other flavors soon, though I suspect lychee will be my favorite. The flavored syrup that they're packed in is also great for reserving and adding flavor to drinks btw!

Love the product, fun to eat, great flavor, but I only got 6 out of the 8 advertised packs both times I’ve bought this item. Last time I bought a few in bulk and only realized looking back at pictures, but this time I sent a message to the seller with no responseI love the product, just not a great seller/quality control sadly

I love this gellie to add to mango bango or mango sago. So fresh! Use it to make cool and refreshing desert that's healthy.

They were too big to fit through even the biggest straws for tea jellies. They taste okay but have a bit of a weird taste. Also use them fast after you open a pouch or the get moldy in the refrigerator.
