It's a great phone - - extending the run of Note phablets
It's a really great phone - - which, after several weeks, I'm still learning about. It's really difficult to find a belt mount holster type of case, as I have a medium weight protector case. Even if a case is rated to hold the Note 9, it's unlikely to be large enough. Small price to pay for a great phone.

Good experience
The phone works well so far. Bought for my girlfriend. The vibratory in the phone sounds loose as its annoying when it goes off, also if you shake it you can hear a little rattling. I will fix it my self if down the road I end up replacing any ports. All picture messaging doesn't work with straight talk, but its not cell traders faut. Works with Verizon though. The phone is in great condition for being refirbished, hardly a scratch on it. I would purchase from again. Was a little leary to buy a phone online, but it was a pleasant experience. Thank you for your prompt service

I love my phone!! I haven't tried the face recognition yet but everything I have used on this phone works great!! I bought it brand new and I do not regret it. This phone is perfect for me. It does everything I need it to do. The camera is excellent. No more blurry pictures! Thank you.

User friendly
I love the speed of this phone. I haven't completely learned about all it can do. I wanted a phone with a lot of storage and this exceeds my requirements. I was interested in a note because it has a built-in stylus which negates the need to carry one and this stylus is amazing.

Didn't work on Straight Talk, then seller tries to fleece me by claiming "damage" to a used phone
I purchased this phone to replace my wife's broken Straight Talk phone. It was listed as unlocked and is listed as a compatible phone through all Straight Talk sources I was able to utilize. I spoke with Straight Talk and have now purchased at my own expense two different SIM cards to try to get it to function on Straight Talk's network. One of these times I spoke with a manager at a Straight Talk call in center and afterwards the phone the phone is technically working but it constantly roaming, often has no text or call functionality, and its data does not function at all despite having a data plan, and this all despite the phone being used in the same area as her old phone was, which had zero problems with service whatsoever.I was able to get the phone barely functional by using some workarounds I found on youtube, but overall the phone is completely unreliable on the Straight Talk network. I am arranging to meet with a local district manager of Straight Talk to try to get the damn thing properly functional, and if that fails, I will be returning this cell phone. There is absolutely no reason a genuinely unlocked phone should be this unreliable. I am uncertain if the fault is on the Straight Talk representatives I have dealt with or the issue is the phone itself, but if the end result is an unreliable cellphone, I don't really care.Be wary if you are a Straight Talk customer and purchase this phone. I have had endless issues trying to get it activated and working properly. I will update this review if I have to end up returning it.UPDATE 01/17: I have now gone through a Straight Talk representative who personally called in to a technician and spent about half an hour trying to make this phone usable with no success. I could chase down a Samsung representative and try to give them the IMEI and try to make sure this phone is unlocked I suppose but I have already gone to far too much trouble with this product as it is. For all the time I've spent trying to get this damn product to work, this seller should be paying ME for my trouble at this point.I don't know if I just got a lemon or what but it's nonsense to continue down this route when I can save $100 through Samsung and be a hundred times more confident in having a functional phone. Save yourselves the headache and the extra money and just buy direct from the manufacturer people.UPDATE 01/20: The seller has contacted me and after trying some different things they are sending me a SIM card that they claim will address the issues of the phone. It remains to be seen if this is the case, and I was tempted to not take them up on it, but they have generously decided to extend the return policy to Feb 15th in my case so I don't really have much to lose by trying their fix. I will update my rating later based on how this all shakes out.UPDATE 01/25: After communicating with the seller who asked that we try their fix before returning the phone, and extending the return policy so that we were not at risk for taking the time to do so, I have elected to return the cellphone. In brief, they asked we try,1: Get a new SIM card from Verizon2: Install the Verizon SIM card3: Install our activated Straight Talk-Verizon SIM cardDoing this left the phone randomly unable to make phone calls and send out text messages and it remained completely incapable of using data. After verbal communication over the telephone, they sent us a Straight Talk SIM card kit insisting that it would work. Upon receiving it, we activated the Straight Talk-Verizon SIM card and the exact same thing happened.I appreciate their efforts but this phone appears to be a lemon and I am tired of troubleshooting their product. I just want a phone that works. I have returned the phone and am awaiting a refund. I shall be updating my review once I have received my refund in full.FINAL UPDATE 02/03: After returning the phone the seller proceeded to claim that it was damaged and then refused to provide me a full refund. I know this to be a lie because I sent the item in the condition it was received in and shipped it as per their shipment requirements (bubblewrap). I am not going to be fleeced because their mail openers are klutzes. Of course, when I confronted them with this, they denied it and also claimed the phone was mysteriously working now (despite following their instructions and even using a sim card THEY sent me to activate the phone with). After multiple weeks of putting up with Radiant Cellular's nonsense I contacted Amazon directly and requested a full refund, which after some time was approved. I am thankful that Amazon takes care of their customers, I wish I could say the same of Radiant Cellular here. Buyer beware.
