Interesting Flavour. Worth a try
Does what it says on the bottle.Provides a Smoky flavour to food.(Chilli Con Carne is an excellent example.) HOWEVER DO USE SPARINGLY.

Mix with decent hickory powder to up the flavour profile.
I am a Hot / Cold smoker of foodstuffs.This is very much what I get out of freshly smoked often not yet matured "smoke" foods, however this is missing the acrid notes too (a good thing).It is handy to have around as a flavour profile in general, I use a fair bit of hickory powder when I use this (experiment first).A nice touch to a winter chicken, chili, ribs preparation ..things of that ilk, especially when you are able to control the atmosphere & recirculate the liquid smoke, (an instantpot).If you intend to use it for a homemade sticky sauce be warned that it will slow the reduction time greatly as it is a very light water type viscosity so add it early to something that will soak it up & then release it with other ingredients combined.(for those starting out making ribs at home for instance, a sauce reduction on home-made "to hand" ingredients can take 40 minutes as is, by putting this in it extends the time so maybe put it in at the beginning & use a thickener as stated elsewhere) to absorb the water here).Also it might be worth simply cold smoking a few big bowls of soy for 40+ hours then pour back into a litre container to mature (a year brings out the smoke beautifully, yes its salty but far more pronounced smoke profile, by smoking the soy sauce,a naturally long lasting fermented product you will be extending its useable lifespan by years, we bottle ours & cork them (cleaned & rinsed brown beer bottles) & use it "like liquid smoke" to some degree, ...we use smoked soy sauce especially on plain rice when having a health kick, adds lots of smoke flavinoids that are satisfying when giving gut rest or reducing calorific intake for instance & easier to make than this "smoked water" which presumably employs bubble plates in the manufacture to get the smoke flavour to stick.

For my taste buds it was not strong enough.
I made a pot of chilli and added some, tasted it and could not really taste the smoke. ended up putting a whole bottle in and after leaving it in the slow cooker for a few more hours the taste seemed to have gone.I personaly wont be buying this again and going to a diffrent brand thats more expensive but i can use less for just as much taste, if you just want a cheap was to add a little smoke to some meals then go ahead and buy it as at this price its worth the risk to see if this fits your taste buds well but for me i will use the last two bottles and move onto another brand.

A must have if you are vegan.
This is about my third purchase. I get through these quick and yet I only use a few dashes from the bottle d once a week to add to fried mushrooms to add to Sunday breakfast. Fry up them bad boy button mushrooms on high heat for a good 10 mins, add salt and pepper then add liquid smoke and then turn on low for 5 mins and dig into those yummy mushrooms. Good enough for a hotel breakfast.

Smells smokey and adds the necessary flavour
added some to a tikka masala as I don't have a tandoor oven and it really helped to boost the flavours of the sauce
