I am very happy with Bluecony IKUKO meditation bench. Stable, well-made and portable.

I began using a bench because of hip problems, and have continued to use it now that my hips are fine, because it makes my breathing freer and posture better. This bench is both beautiful and stable, but still easy to put together and take apart for traveling on weekends, etc. Nice.

This meditation bench is all it claims to be. Beautiful. Solid wood. Extremely comfortable. For longer meditations (2-8 hours) I use a slim pillow for additional cushion. I love the way one's legs fit around the outside of the legs which allows for some repositioning if needed. I love the fact that is comes apart for travel. My one suggestion is that for the price, the carrying bag should be made of better material and allow for easier removal and replacement of the bench in the bag. Something padded to protect the wood would be a nice addition. That said, I have purchased two of these and "sold" many others to friends who have purchased them.

I own three of these style chairs/stools and this is by far the most comfortable one. Even without a cushion, the contour, groundedness, and stability are top notch. Easy to assemble, great customer service, and a perfect product.10/10

I have the darker choice. It is stylish and comfortable. Easy to take apart, assemble, and lightweight to carry. It is often used at my coffee table for meals in addition to meditation. I was afraid it would not be sturdy or I would feel off balance but it feels solid and people of various heights seem to feel it works for them. House guest like to try it out and are generally impressed. It is a bit of a conversation starter.The cotton tote it comes with was clearly ripped before I even took it out of the shipping box. The box was perfectly intact and the product was well cushioned in the packaging. So I wouldn't plan on the tote lasting for any length of time. This isn't a great marketing strategy since the bag has the company name. The underside of the chair has a wood brand with the logo, I think, but no one can make out the name when people want to know who made it. The bench isn't an awkward size to fit in a generic bag/tote but it would be nicer in the more fitted bag so the pieces don't wiggle about so much. Not a huge problem but since it is a top selling point on the product description and photos, I felt it was only fair to mention it.

I was on the fence about this meditation bench for a few weeks because of the price. After failing several other methods, like sitting on my legs, laying flat on the floor or bed, meditation pillow, chair, etc, I realized that if I want to make meditation a regular practice I’d have to give this bench a shot. I am so glad I did. It was worth every dollar. I have rheumatoid arthritis, myositis, and Sjogren’s and am in constant pain. Sitting for any period of time is painful. There is something about this bench that makes sitting incredibly comfortable. It’s probably the slant that keeps the spine in alignment while also keeping pressure off of your legs. I use this for a lot more than meditation. When my body is feeling sore, I take a few minutes to sit on it and stretch, keeping my spine straight and feel immediate pain relief. It’s great for tv watching, meditation, reading, etc. I couldn’t be any happier with it. I’m 5’4” and 130lbs btw and considered the small bench, but the standard size is perfect! I’m so glad I chose this size instead. I think if you’re under 5’4” you should definitely go smaller but this one works perfectly for me.

I bought this thinking it was not going to be a good purchase but I was wrong; I love it!I had a problem with other Seiza benches, I would go deep into meditation and start sliding down which would make it difficult to relax.Not with this great bench. I haven’t felt this relaxed in a long time. I really would like to make the point that this ain’t another bench on the market, it’s a real quality one which I think will help people relax.Highly recommended. Just one thing, I don’t know how much seiza is good for knees and joints but this bench definitely eases the tension.Try it!

I love how the curve in the sit fit my derriere and support my meditation position.

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this bench because I was having some back pain during my longer meditation sessions.It’s a really well-made bench. It’s beautiful, sturdy, easy to assemble, comfortable and I love the color. I also enjoyed the unboxing experience because it was packaged very well. You do not need a cushion. The bench is very comfortable and I can see myself sitting on it for a long time.Some of the comments mentioned that it is on the pricier side. I think for what you’re getting in terms of craftsmanship, functionality, and an aesthetically pleasing piece, it’s worth the money.

There is very little to dislike about this bench. It was very simple to assemble and fit me perfectly. I'm 6' and my legs are very comfortable. The height is just right. My first few meditation sessions using the bench were the best I've experienced.I've not had to use IKUKO customer service, but the contact info inside the packaging made it clear that they are there for you.If you're looking for a comfortable bench, this is it.

I love like this bench and use it every single day. It has drastically improved the quality of my meditations.I had some difficulty with the insert that attaches the leg of the bench to the seat, twice and both times received great customer service and support to ensure that it was in proper working function. Highly recommend this product.

The comfort of this stool is very surprising, it really puts you in position you could stay in forever! Love the aesthetic and dark walnut color as well. Great addition to meditation practice and helps to be seating for long periods of time. Love that it’s made right in Canada. Your body and mind will thank you for this. I’m 6’1 and the high height feels just right.

The stool is a dream to settle into and eases the pressure on my hips and back when I'm trying to meditate. It makes a strange creaking sound when I sit on it, and I am very careful, so I am concerned about the longevity and the sturdiness, but for the time being it is lovely to use, and I appreciate the unique woodgrain and simplicity of the design.
