Just buy it. If you’re in the market for a good color shifting, mermaid-y, unicorn-ish, aurora, glazed donut, iridescent, style chrome powder, this is the one. I’m not a “professional” but I have been doing my own gel nails at home for about 10 years, and I’ve really gotten into all things chrome in the last 3 or so years, so I have tried and tested A LOT of products. And this one is JUST AS GOOD as the high end brand selling this same style chrome for $40+. This is the same exact effect and same quality in my opinion and a lot better quality than the other cheaper brands that are on Amazon. (I’ve tried some other affordable chromes on Amazon, and they just look dull). The price on this set is SUPER REASONABLE. There’s not a ton of powder in the jars, but you only need a teeny tiny bit on the applicator, I see a lot of people over do it, and you need to BUFF it into oblivion, if used sparingly there should be enough for MANY manicures. And I’m looking forward to trying it with all the base colors. 😂 I also love the included top coat, once you start using chrome it gets into the top coat and all of your manicure become ~glittery~ so it’s best to keep a separate top coat for chromes and regular manicures. I also like the magnetic cat eye polish, I’ve swatched it but haven’t used it yet, it seems it’s best applied on top of a base color because it it very sheer and you can then apply a top coat and chrome on top of that if desired. I do wish the magnet was a little bit bigger but I’m glad they included one at all. Overall this is one of the best nail purchases I’ve made from Amazon, I’ve tried a lot over the years and this is a great value and just as good as the high end stuff. This isn’t a paid or sponsored review in anyway, I always read reviews before trying things because I genuinely care what people have to say about products, and so I’m hoping to share that too, this is one of the best chromes I’ve seen in a long time and I highly recommend it. I cannot leave the house without getting compliments everyone it’s on my nails! It’s just so good, it looks great on any color base, and it constantly shifts in different lighting. I added photos of some swatches over different color bases so you can see how they change. Happy nail-arting!!

These chrome powders work great with gel polishes! You will need a no wipe top coat to really get that solid chrome effect. ❤️ do a short cure (dependant on your lamp) 20-30 seconds and buff into the surface with the soft sponge applicator and viola! And doing chrome "emboss" type effects is easy easy with a matt topcoat too. Careful with the holographic one though: it'll have you just staring at your hands mesmerized. Lol... pictured is the holographic chrome powder with a black base.

This is an AMAZING product. I just finished them up and my tip would be press and rub in the powder a lot, with more pressure then you are thinking. This gave me the metal shine I was going for. This entire kit is awesome quality, even coming with a brush. It’s all nice quality and gives amazing effects. It was really easy to use as a first time gel user! I’m not sure how long they will last but I will update. GET THIS PRODUCT!!!

Beautiful Nail chromes! The colors are amazing and are the base colors you typically need. If you are a beginner and want to play around with nail chromes I recommend these. The only thing I don't like is that if you want the mirror effect with the metallic shades, you're probably not going to get that since its not super fine. Overall a great starter product!

I bought this almost a year ago and kept putting off trying it. I thought it would be too hard and I was so wrong! This is really easy, it takes a little more time than regular polish, but it's SO PRETTY! I also enjoy doing my own nails with my own products only used by me. The last time I treated myself to a nail salon mani/pedi, I spent $150 and it was a terrible job. Although I think I will do better after practice, this wasn't bad for the first try! I definitely will be using this kit a lot. What a tremendous value for the money. I'm ready to toss all my old nailpolish!****IMPORTANT TO NOTE**** If you buy this kit, you will need to buy the base coat and top coat separately if you dont have it already on hand. I bought the Beetles brand and was happy with it. You will also need a UV/LED light, which I had from another brand.

I am obsessed with the chrome effect that this product had on my gel nails. When I used to get my nails done professionally, I remember the chrome pigment making it more likely for my gel manicure to chip. My nails pictured here are about a month old now, and I have had no issues with chipping. I get compliments on the color all of the time, and this effect was achieved at a very reasonable price. I also loved how easy it was to use and apply once I had figured out the order of operations.

The media could not be loaded. I'm a noob at doing my own nails, but really wanted to jump on the chrome bandwagon. This was so much easier than I thought! I did watch a few videos about chrome, because apparently the process is different when done with regular polish, which is what I use. I've only used these on swatch sticks so that I could test out the process, but I can't wait to do them on my actual nails!

As a nail tech I was so excited to find a affordable chrome! But sadly the gel polish sucks it’s so bad and barely cures! Usually with a good quality gel polish there will be some sticky finish but when you wipe it off with acetone it becomes perfect! But sadly this didn’t cure I kept the black gel polish under my uv lamp for 90 seconds mind you my lamp is a high quality one not a flash cure but after curing it became very sticky! When I wiped it down it smeared all over the nail and it was a mess! Chrome is great though! Hopefully I just got a bad batch
