This face moisturizer is great! Smooth as silk. No scent. Non-oily. Absorbs easily. Lightweight. Very effective. Doubles as an after shave moisturizer, too, with no stinging thanks to Aloe Vera being the 2nd listed ingredient in it. It’s an all-around winner!

I'm reviewing this for my husband. He will never get around to this...not to mention technology isn't exactly his best friend. However, I really wanted to let everyone know how wonderful this product is. First of all, my husband has extremely sensitive skin. I can't even bleach his whites because the chlorine irritates his skin (even after the rinse cycle!). Shaving causes him issues so many issues, he just beards up for most of the winter since the air is so dry here in Montana. He was raving so much about his new "face lotion", I decided to give it a try. As a woman who loves makeup and all things skincare, I've been around the block a few times and I'm honestly impressed with this product for several reasons.1) First and foremost, my husband has used this issue free with his sensitive skin. I can't tell you what a relief that was! I've searched for something that will work for him and I've found it! Eureka!2) When it says fragrance free, they mean it. This is such a nice thing, I don't know how many products I've purchased that say fragrance free and then they're not.3) It's rich and smooth, quickly replenishing moisture without feeling greasy. Plus it soaks in quickly which is a nice thing before bed or for me, before I apply makeup. Not that really matters for guys ;-)4) Truly moisturizes, sometimes moisturizers soak in but make you feel like you need additional applications. Not this stuff, it's very creamy and nourishing.5) I love the ingredients. Nothing too weird but at the same time a lot of good stuff, if that makes sense.My 1 and ONLY complaint is a lack of sunscreen. It's hard enough to corral a man long enough to make him moisturize without also saying "oh by the way, you need sunscreen too"...now keep in mind I live in Montana...sometimes the boys can be a little wild and hard to tame in these parts ;-). That's it though, no other complaints! There's really nothing to complain about. Great product, no issues with the bottle and I've managed to get him in a routine of using it almost every day since Christmas. Personally, I think I'm winning!

i'm only giving 4 stars because of the price - i realize this is what cosmetic products cost, but they shouldn't. why do so many women make their own creams ? this is ridiculous - just as nobody builds their own microwave oven nobody should have to make their own face cream, anyway ...i was pleasantly surprised by nearly every aspect of this product. the list of ingredients is good, the packaging is stylish, the bottle is extremely well designed - i can carry it with me to the swimming pool and not worry about contents being all over my bag, because the bottle is hard and the dispenser is protected with a clear cap so you can't accidentally press it. on the other hand with the cap removed the dispenser makes it easy to dose just the right amount of cream so you don't end up wasting it.now for the important part - the cream itself - i like it. it is neither watery nor oily - just right. i use it mainly under my eyes and i like both how it goes on and how my skin feels afterwards. i bought it for use after swimming pool where the chlorine really is harsh on my skin, but i like it so much i started using it at home after shower too, where before i didn't use anything.i was previously using neostrata but i wanted to find something cheaper. this one is half the price of neostrata, is partially organic and has a much better designed bottle ( with neostrata it was a problem ). as for the cream itself it doesn't feel as oily as neostrata, which i actually prefer, and works just as well for dry skin on my face.i'm giving only 4 stars because i also tried St. Ives cream which is 10 times cheaper, and while i did not like it ( gave it to my mother ) 10 times cheaper is a BIG difference. while it would probably be impossible to make a quality product at the price of St. Ives cream i still think Rugged & Dapper could at least make the bottle bigger at the same price, although 4 OZ is already a lot bigger than 1.4 OZ neostrata bottle, which costs the same as Rugged & Dapper.anyway, there is always room for improvement, but overall i like this product and recommend it.
