Great Stuff 99112809 Smart Dispenser Pestblock, Gray

Easy to use and exactly as advertised. Put on exterior porch roof that use to have wasps' nests for years, now they avoid the area completely. Bought 2 cans, but one can was sufficient and gave the other to a friend with a similar problem in his garage.

Works ok! You should always wear disposable gloves when spraying it, because the liquid is like super glue. It will ruin any cloth gloves or clothing. And it will easily bond to skin too if not removed quickly.

Its great but y'all need to make smaller cans that can be used all in one go or figure out how create interchangeable nozzles that dont get clogged.Im not able to use the entire can and it gets clogged and unable in one use.

I get carpenter bees every year and this year it was BAD. Friend recommended this stuff so I gave it a shot. Works well and is easy to use. Definitely shake it up at least a minute before use. I plugged all my wood bee holes and bam! It's like they don't want to eat my back porch anymore. I'll always have this stuff on hand now. Whatever chemicals are in this must not be appealing because they have left our house alone now. Definitely recommend this stuff!

We bought this for the spaces between the sidewalk, joints and by the house. We specifically got gray so it would blend in. Ha! Joke's on us. Within a day it was turning yellow, then turned bright orange. We're going to try painting it next so it won't stick out so badly. Also, it expands big time. It definitely needs to be trimmed off.

Easy to use gap filler. I like that it’s grey color, not orange.

Than that of the manufacturer, Dupont. First, the spray handle never tightens: it spins around like a top. This crap is a mess.. I ruined a pair of gloves cleaning up the drips that this product doesn't produce. There is no foam per se. I thought it would come out like the foam you see in the picture that's orange. That's what I get for thinking. The product dries white, not grey. I'll spray paint the area but I shouldn't have to do that.This is like cake icing and it drips all over. Never, never, never again. Dupont, you got my $ once; I hope you spent it on something that wasn't frivolous because it's the last you'll get from me.There is zero quality, application is nearly impossible, for lack of a better word. I wisj I could mail this crAp as is back to Dupont and then maybe they can tell us all about the versatility of shoving it up something else that is more apropos.The ad says the item can be returned but that's a lie. I hate that. If an item can't be returned, why have a return policy?

Update 12/1/2024: Previously using the foam applicator tube had been challenging and messy. Yet, I don't appear to be smart enough to operate the new "Smart Dispenser" tip. I simply can't get the Smart Dispenser tips to work properly or sometimes at all. I'll try another brand with the old tip style.Living in a rural setting means taking a hands-on approach to keep unwanted critters at bay. Fifteen years ago, I discovered a method that has proven effective: installing copper mesh secured with Great Stuff 99112809 Smart Dispenser Pestblock foam under the bottom edges of my home's James Hardy cement siding. This combination has successfully prevented entry from various pests.The Pestblock foam is particularly noteworthy for its durability and pest-deterring capabilities. However, application can be messy and requires careful preparation. I learned the hard way that protective gear such as gloves, long sleeves, and pants are non-negotiable, as the foam adheres to skin stubbornly, leading to an uncomfortable removal process.I'm currently applying the same technique to seal the bottom openings of a steel shop building, aiming to deter mice without creating an entirely impenetrable barrier. Despite the application challenges, Great Stuff Pestblock remains my go-to solution for effective pest control in a rural setting. Its performance outweighs the cleanup inconvenience, making it a valuable tool in maintaining a pest-free environment.
