I purchased the "Steel Wool Fill Fabric DIY Kit" to address a long-standing and frustrating problem: mice entering the house through gaps where the siding didn't properly meet the foundation. This had been an issue for many years, allowing rodents easy access. After receiving the kit, I set out to carefully fill all the identified entry points, including small gaps and problematic areas around pipes and vents. The steel wool was easy to work with and packed tightly into the crevices. I am extremely happy to report that since filling these areas with the steel wool, we have not had a single mouse sighting inside the house. This product has proven to be an incredibly effective and chemical-free method of exclusion. It was well worth both the money and the effort required to finally solve this persistent problem. I highly recommend this simple yet powerful solution for blocking pest entry points.

Great to put in front of the rubber garage bottom piece of my door that I never take up & down. It actually stays flush against it actually. It was so easy to do. No tools needed but a glove.

We installed this over a year ago and it has held up well to the elements since then. It stays in place, does not rust or fall apart, and continues to do its job as intended. Easy to work with during installation and durable enough for outdoor or exposed areas. A solid long term solution that has proven reliable over time.

A bit messy, but able to cut easily with scissors & stuff into outdoor crevices. No more critters getting inside. It shreds quite easily making a mess, but overall great value. The size & fit were good. Plenty leftover for future use. Wear gloves.

Really fills even tight spaces. I used a small plastic scraper to push the material into place. As other reviewers note, wear gloves and cut in a place that is easy to clean up. The shards of the wool are like tiny needles—very sharp!

Great for sealing up the entrance hole/spaces so unwanted visitors do not get in, only issue when it gets wet, it will rust, the price was just right.

I AM NOT A FAN OF MICE! They creep me out. We had 2 and caught them with a trap and release container. We found a few spots where we think they might be getting in. Put this stern wool in the openings and haven’t seen a mouse in months. Very effective and value for the money. Mice are not fans of steel wool. They can be squished in any opening and the size is great for covering any size opening.

The product's description as written, leads one to think it's stainless steel (described as non corrosive). However when you read other people's reviews it does rust! A magnet stick to it, and the last thing I need is to be stuffing plain steel wool into an exterior hole which one exposed to moisture will cause rust and oxide. It is for this reason I can't recommend it.

Used both rolls to block cracks left by the contractor that remodeled the kitchen. Have not seen a single mouse since.

Bought this to block a couple of hard to reach (and fix) holes in the corners in my kitchen cabinet. The rats kept chewing things & pooping all over. No more!
