I'm always looking for new ways to put my long hair up without damaging ties. These fit the bill. Easier to put in and take out than bobby pins, which always seemed to pull a few strands out when removing. I like how these simply weave in and pull straight out and hold securely. Just as secure as the spiral bun pins I was using but these add a nice decorative touch when you want to add a little something extra.I purchased the silver set and they seem to all be made of metal, sturdy and with a nice weight to them. Sturdy yet not heavy enough to be uncomfortable. I have straight hair that hits just below my bra strap and I have had no issue with being able to secure my hair up with just one stick. Although occasionally I will use two just for the look. The assorted styles mean they work for a variety looks and a couple look like you can add your own beads and charms to create something for dressing them up further.I would recommend these to anyone looking to add variety to their bun look and anyone wanting to find ways of securing their hair up without damage.

The smooth sided ones work best for my hair. I think it depends on your hair texture. All the hair sticks are beautiful & they have a nice weight to them. I don't expect these ones will bend with use.

Good hair pins. I got them about a year ago and they are already starting to break. They’re metal I think but the top of one of them broke off when I was trying to put it in my hair, wasn’t even being rough with it, just bent and then broke softly, idk how to explain it. But they hold really well, the ends are thick so it kinda hurts if you don’t shift them around when putting them in, cause it will just pull on your hair or pull your hair out if you just push straight in. I’d opt for something smoother if I bought these again.

These vintage hair pins are my favorite and my go to when I am in a hurry to put my hair up. I was surprised by how high quality the pins are. It is easy to use and hold up my hair well. I also love that it has so many different designs to match my clothes.

The media could not be loaded. These are actually quite lovely but they're NOT all metal. They honestly seem to be made of metal coated plastic and that's why so many of them are arriving bent or broken entirely. They would be much sturdier if they were solid brass but they would also be more expensive and heavier. These are light and quiet detailed but you would almost certainly only be able to use these decoratively. Meaning you'd have to style your hair before pushing them in rather than using the forks on two of the sets.Some are slightly bent but it wouldn't affect the overall use of the pins.Overall I think these are actually a pretty good purchase for the price and options available but if you're looking for something handmade or sturdy this isn't for you. Anyone with 4a textured hair and above will also need to be careful when using these, as the forked sets may cause snagging. Nothing too bad but it definitely gets a little hinky when you want to move them around.A nice purchase that put me over the minimum free shipping threshold!

I was surprised at the weight and quality! So shiny and the designs are gorgeous! I've usually worn plastic ones but these metal ones definitely changed my style game! Goes well with my sterling silver and white gold.
