Q: Should this be stored in the frig or freezer?

I have never put this in the frig or freezer. I keep it with my spices in the cabinet but I do occasionally buy the packages of fresh chives for special dishes that call for freshly sliced chives. The bottled product seems to be fine for most cooked dishes. Hope this helps.

The one I received was glass bottle with metal lid.

Q: Where are these grown and packaged ?

I still have the jar that I bought. The label doesn't state the country of origin. That makes me suspicious. I believe that is a violation of country of origin labeling regulations. The chives were very tasty, but I won't buy them again without knowing the country of origin.
