I am NOT using mine for the outdoors...its staying in my open floor plan LR/DR so my grandchildren can be where the action is doing crafts, eating snacks, lunch whatever they want!!! Its very good looking the cushions in oatmeal match my cream and white decor. The wood is rustic but a bit refined not your typical outdoor picnic table set. It goes well with my sand washed dining room table. For outdoor use it would be great under the cover of a Lanai, but in the elements definitely give it a coat of poly. The umbrella is a market umbrella all wood peg latch and all brass fittings.A breeze to put together for someone who is handy with diagrams and bolts comes with everything needed for assembly plus extras.Packaging was just OK interiors could have been better protected for major shifting. Some dents and splintering and such, totally minor and expected...little fine sand paper whalla fixed, kinda adds to the character. I may even whitewash for a cottage look at some point.All in All.... quality item!! Grandchildren will outgrow before it breaks!

Ordered this set despite some reviews that mentioned quality issues. Arrived well packaged with all parts needed for assembly. No chips or damage to wood. We did choose to put some weather proofing on the wood, since it was made of untreated lumber. Very cute with the cushions and umbrella. Benches hold adult weight. Happy with my purchase!

I would have loved to give this table 5 stars but there were some issues. Prior to purchasing this item, we knew from the reviews we we’re going to have to do some of our own weatherproofing. I’m ok with that. Upon opening the box there was a chunk of wood that had broken off of the table. Luckily it was on the bottom of the table and a bit easier to hide / fix with some wood glue. My main gripe was that there was a defective table leg. The pre-drilled holes were not in the right place (making me think I was slightly losing my mind and had the table pieces placed wrong). After some thought I figured I could remedy the situation by using a couple wood screws. Table is functional and seems sturdy. Time to see how it will hold up.

We recently purchased this for our daughter who just turned 7. I was a little worried that this was going to be too small for her, but as of now, it fits her and her friends perfect. She's around 48" tall and weighs about 50ish lbs.Great quality as are all KidKraft products. The cushions are a nice touch as well as the matching umbrella. Very sturdy and went together quickly.

I have had my eye on this kids table for over a year and finally pulled the trigger this summer. I am SO glad I did! It is exactly as pictured and super high quality! I knocked off one star for assembly because my husband wasn’t able to screw in 1 out of 4 screws in one of the benches... we think the hole wasn’t drilled deep enough. Otherwise, it took him about an hour to put together by himself, VERY easy. My son has been using it indoors for about a month now and I love it more and move every day. He eats snacks and colors at it, it’s held up very well to both. Right now it’s indoors, but we’re planning to seal it with water-based wood sealer and move it outside. I’m a big fan of the KidKraft brand and have always had a great experience with their assembly, quality and durability!

I am shocked and incredibly disappointed in the quality of this item. I have other kid kraft items and none appear as poorly made as this and the accompanying double chaise lounger that coordinates with this set. I’ll start by mentioning-it was covered in mold that my husband scrubbed before assembling it. I wish that I had been home so he wouldn’t have put it together-I would’ve just returned it at that point. It seems to have stain and drip spots from whatever finish was applied to it, it is also splintering and missing chunks of wood-as mentioned by another reviewer. It doesn’t appear to be water resistant, so I just purchased a water sealant, which my husband will now have to apply. However at this price point for child furniture, I was expecting a MUCH better product.

This lil table is so cute and perfect for my 3 and 5 year old. They love conversations and eating their lunch or snack on it. We keep moving it back to the shade after use to protect it from the sun. It is super light yet durable and sturdy.Also, I don’t understand all the fuss about assembling, it literally took my hubby 30min to complete. Get a drill, duh!
