Q: Is this compatible with lithium batteries?

Hello, Thank you for your question. The inverter in this kit does not have a lithium battery charging setting, it is designed to charge lead acid batteries. It does have a user-defined battery charging setting which allows the user to set custom charging voltages. We have had some customers in the past use the setting successfully with lithium batteries. You would need to check with the seller/manufacturer of the lithium batteries to see whether a user-defined charging setting from a device to charge lead-acid would be suitable and safe to use, as this is dependent of the BMS of the lithium batteries. Q: Can you add more solar panels or a wind turbine?

Hello, Thank you for your query on this kit. The kit is designed with the maximum number of solar panels for the solar charge controller hybrid of this solar panel option included for a 24V system. If you wanted to add further solar panels/wind turbines you could do so but it would require a separate wind/solar hybrid or suitable charge controller to connect to the batteries separately and charge via their own regulatory system. Hello, Thank you for your interest in our complete off grid systems. This system is capable of outputting up to 3KW of power, so running 400W of lights should not be an issue, however it is unlikely that you would generate sufficient power in England to run them for 8 hours a night all year around. With the exception of the middle of summer, you would likely be relying at least partially on the mains input of the inverter to run these lights, with more mains power being required during the winter months.
