When you open this bag of beans you are greeted with a wonderful aroma which spreads throughout the house . They are a strong and robust coffee bean and after grinding make a lovely pot of coffee. They suit our taste for strong coffee and I am very happy with them and will buy again. Good quality and value for money.

I've been experimenting with different beans now to try and find my perfect cup of espresso (which I then go and make into a cappuchino).I've tried all the beans in the L'Or range and these Onyx coffee beans are by far my favourite. As soon as you open the pack you get a glorious smooth rich roasted smell. Grinding produces a smooth consistent ground coffee with the same intense smell, and with my digital espresso machine it produced a beautiful intensely flavoured espresso with great crema. Perfect for cappuchino's, latte's and mocha.They've now replaced my usual French Roast beans as my go to coffee.Highly recommended.

Tasty and strong

The taste is strong and impactful. I bought it on sale for around £7, but the price later increased to £14, which feels too expensive for the value. Still, the flavor delivers a bold punch.

This coffee is better than expected.Good strong dark coffee beans. These have a great taste with no bitterness. Better than I was expecting, recommended for mocha pot espresso shots.Good price, fresh beans, smells great from grinder to cup.Try them, you won't be disappointed.

Intensity 12 . Strong enough but not quite the right flavour

The media could not be loaded. Really got into real coffee seruously over psst few years so bought a state of the art bean/ground coffee machine. I try lots of types of beans. Some are way too light, some bitter, some too burnt. These beans are just right. They produce a smooth crema, the body is rich and dark. Espresso or late style this coffee doesn't disappoint.The beans even look beautiful and rich in colour and shine.
