About a year ago, I bought a battery powered flashlight in order to do stuff around the house during the night time. The battery powered one was a disaster! The flashlight was cheap, but after spending over 40 dollars on batteries, and crappy lighting, I knew I had to make a switch. So I went to one of those hand-cranked flashlights, and for the work that I do outside, it wasn't worth all the cranking. I'd crank, and the darn light would flicker, work for 5 minutes, and putter out. I don't know if it was me, or if it was the brand I purchased. However, getting this flashlight was the coolest thing ever.So I bought this flashlight in a sort of frustration. I thought the name "BuySight" was pretty cool, so I made the decision to buy this guy for the value. Now, I could help scout around the house at night for my cat, work in the dark, go camping, etc. I LOVE THIS THING! The features honestly surprise me. Pressing the top portion of the trigger allows you to activate a side lamp light function with three different tones of lighting. My favorite was the police light action if you hold the top trigger down! Great for emergency situations or freaking out your friends by pretending you're the police.The bottom trigger button activates the flashlight itself, which is very bright! You can tone down the lighting the same way as the top trigger button, but if you hold it down, it activates a strobe light feature. Again, excellent for special situations or if you want to have an impromptu strobe party.The fact it can recharge without having to install a battery makes me so happy. Literally, I'm saving money on having to purchase batteries. Just plug it in when you are done, and you're good to go.There's no noticeable fade to the light, and the LED light bulb is holding strong. I had to work on my car at night, and I could've sworn this thing was better than the industrial spotlight I have in my garage.After a long bit of use, I'm noticing the light doesn't get too warm at all. I think the fact the handle is separated from the body of the flashlight helps for grip and comfort. As far as drops go, I haven't dropped it yet, so I haven't been able to test that function. I live in the Greater Seattle Area, so it rains a lot! Some days it's like being under a waterfall! --And this light doesn't disappoint. The tripod and sling was phenomenal for setting up the lamp part of the light better for hands-free lighting.Charging the flashlight is pretty much spot on in terms of the description. This thing lasts forever! I honestly would've been happy if this flashlight lasted half as long, given the life of battery-operated flashlights of the past. When it's over a quarter charged, I could see for several yards ahead of me. It's like the headlights on a car in terms of brightness. I even tested to see how strong the battery was below a quarter charge, and it was still going strong up until about (I assume) 5% battery life. Good job!When I got the flashlight, I was super worried about the soldering problem listed on the description, but there was no issue with mine at all.I might be a little bit gushy about this flashlight, but if mine ever dies on me, I'm getting a similar or newer version of one. I really recommend buying this guy. It'll literally brighten your day/night.

There’s nothing NOT to like about this high powered flashlight. Has an emergency flashing feature. Good charge. It puts regular flashlights to shame. The light force is strong with this one. ;) Good value as well. Don’t hesitate.

Absolutely love these lights. It is the third one that I have bought. It is very bright, shines a long ways and takes a lot of abuse. I'm really happy with the way they updated it from the first one that I have to use a C charger to charge it. It really makes it more convenient especially in my vehicles. The charge does last a long time. I keep one down in our storm shelter. I recommend this light for various purposes. It comes with a little tripod stand if you need to place it on the ground to fix something.

This handheld spotlight lives in my truck and I've had the occasion to use it a few times now.First of all, it's very lightweight. If you're like me and you have a few years under your belt, you may be expecting some big, heavy thing, but with the way LED and battery technology have gone, this thing is so light you might mistake it for a toy. It is, however VERY bright and throws a nice focused beam a respectable distance.I'm not a scientist and I don't have fancy lumen meters and I haven't set up any experiment to tell you how far the beam goes or how bright it is at a certain distance, but for spotlighting points of interest while off-road at night in the Nevada desert, this thing works. The spotlight has a HIGH and LOW setting, with the switch bringing the light on to HIGH with the first click, LOW with the second click and OFF with the third click. Handy.It also has a floodlight / work light feature built into the side. This part also has a HIGH and LOW feature where the switch brings the light on HIGH, then LOW, then OFF. I just used the work light last night when I was installing something under the dash of my truck at 8pm. It worked great!And if you came here to find out if you can have the SPOTLIGHT and the WORK LIGHT on at the same time, the answer is yes, you definitely can.Comes with a recharging cable and a nifty little table top tripod so you can set it up as a camping lantern or area light.The only thing I will say is that the main light is DEFINITELY a spotlight and not a flood or area light. The long distance beam is TIGHT and will not illuminate a large area like those old style halogen spotlights used to. This is going to light up a very bright circle of wherever you point it, and not much else. Just FYI. Don't be expecting to light up a whole big area with this thing.
