Alaska's Best Original King Salmon Jerky (1oz) - Pack of Six

OMG- this is just what I was looking for!I've been a vegetarian for over 25 years and one of the things I missed was near jerkey.This is the real deal.This will be on my next trip to the BWCA.PACKED WITH OMEGAS and protein.I really liked Trader Joe's brand but it's been apparently discontinued.It might be a bit overpriced but we all know that this product is usually high anyway.Will definatly order again and again!

These are good. Nice and dry and chewy. One problem, Maybe it is just me. More smell then flavor. Good for survival packs when out in the bush. My old man can't handle the smell of these. Lol He isn't a fish person.A little high priced for very little packs. Then again, I understand why. I was raised fishing with my father on the California coast. What you do to go deep sea fishing. The curing time, and smoking and packing. I get it. Thank you!Do you have smoked lingcod or smoked Rockfish?

This is the best substitute I have found for my beloved belly strips from Pike Place Fish in Seattle at a fraction of the cost! The taste is identical, and the texture is similar to the drier belly strips I've had. I think these would be ideal for hiking, camping, cycling, snacks at work, etc. as they are loaded with flavor and nutrients at a relatively low calorie cost. I will be purchasing the 10oz. bulk package next. Highly, highly recommend these if you are like me and balk at paying $100+ to ship a pound of belly strips from Seattle...

Overall taste was about a three out of five not sweet enough.But what really surprise me was that I found when I was eating my first piece I got stuck with a thin bone then as a needle that should not be any bones in this jerky that disappointed me a lot.

I would give these a 1/2 Star if I could. They are absolutely disgusting. Don’t waste your money.

I am a big fan of this company's salmon jerky for several years running now. While inherently less soft and malleable than traditional jerky (that's just how oilier meats are when dehydrated), the texture is firm and nearly crunchy, which I really enjoy. The flavour is always out-of-this-world fresh, and the spices they prepare it with complement the salmon perfectly. Great for camping and on-the-go events where you need pure protein energy without the hassle of a can-opener. I'll be back for my next batch shortly!

Growing up on Puget Sound, I think of salmon as beef from the sea, and these jerky sticks really are delicious. However they're a bit pricey, so I hope the seller reads this and offers a 5 lb package. I'd pay $100...

$4 a stick!But a Slim Jim is $2Red/Sockeye, Silver or King Salmon are probably worth the pricePink, Chum are Atlantic Salmon are nit worth this price.
