Corelle World Kitchen White, Size Pla Livingware Luncheon, Winter Frost 8-1/2-Inch, Set of 6 Plates

Not glamorous, but I would not use anything else to eat off of, for myself and my children. So easy to clean. Crisp white plates that are light, yet durable. I had no idea that china leaches lead and mercury until an acquaintance said she only uses Corelle. This woman is a non-toxic obsessed person whom I trust regarding toxic home products.

We have used Corelle dishes for years. We love them because they are durable, space-saving stackable, high-quality, and nice looking. I got my first set as a hand-me-down from my Mom and have added to the collection with several various orders as my own family has grown. Corelle seems to last forever and keep its quality.This particular size is "in-between" the larger plates and very small plates that currently ship when you buy a new, current 16-piece Corelle set (4 each of large dinner plate, small plate, bowl, and mug in the new sets, with zero of these luncheon plates). They apparently don't offer this plate size in multi-size sets anymore, which is a shame. This luncheon plate is the favorite of our kids to grab when they make themselves a sandwich. It is also the perfect size for serving desserts, like slices of pie or birthday cake.The "winter frost white" is simply a plain white plate. We added this 6-pack to our everyday collection that includes at least 3 different patterns, plus now this white. They don't all match, but we are a busy family, and it works great. For durable, high-quality dishes, we love our Corelle for everyday use. If you use Corelle daily but don't have any of this luncheon plate size, this 6-pack is a really nice buy to add.

Easy to wash and it is the prefect size for small children.

I love Corelle for everyday use. The plates are durable, practical, and space efficient. The luncheon plate is exactly the right size for a sandwich and chips. My only complaint is that if you want to buy only luncheon plates there is only the plain plate in Winter Frost White to choose from. It would have been nice to be able to match the style of my existing set of Corelle dinnerware.

I am a member of a group that supports a few causes -one being an elderly WW2 veteran. We try to meet his needs that his very limited budget does not supply - - as well as provide of few nice extras. He had his Corelle dishes but none of the luncheon size. He really missed having this particular size. I found this set on Amazon and had them sent to him.The Dishes arrived within two days in perfect order. His caregiver checked for the bubbles, imperfections, etc that others have complained about - - but this set of six was perfect!!! He loves them for sandwiches, chips, breakfast pastry, and snacks of the deck.I was so impressed that I then ordered a set for myself - - and again - - they were the perfect size and in perfect condition when they arrived promptly. I love them and find I use them often.If you like Corelle this is a good price (I checked Walmarts and local stores - -this was the best price!) - - and really a practical size to have! The Winter White can fill in for the luncheon size in other pattern sets.
